The hotel is perfect for relaxing; you could easily spend a whole day lounging on one of the tree chairs. There's a small shopping center just a five or six-minute walk away, offering convenient shopping and dining options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel."

"We loved the ocean view studio unit! Loved how the doors folded open to make the balcony feel like part of the room. The AC unit our first night did not work and had to be completely reworked. The dryer in this specific unit would not dry the clothes! We tried every setting! Overall loved the unit and location but a few things could have made it a 5 star stay!"

"The room is spacious, and the living room sofa can be converted into a large sofa bed, perfect for families with children. It also comes with a fully equipped kitchen, including a large refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. I think there's no need to opt for breakfast since buying groceries is very convenient, and you can even prepare all your meals yourself while staying at the hotel. Parking is also easily accessible to the hotel building. The beach is clean, and even though it's a public beach, it wasn't overly crowded, which actually added to its appeal. The hotel offers plenty of activities, but we spent most of our time exploring Maui by car (Road to Hana, Haleakala), so we didn't get to experience them much. Service-wise, it was not bad. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"I actually really enjoyed it. My room looked up to date. Very nice hotel staff at front desk and bell boys. Housekeeping could have been better. I liked the big tubs which i didn't get to use from coming home too tired every night after a full day out. I loved having the beach and reefs right there and being able to snorkel all along the coast. The swimming pools and jacuzzis looked nice too. The hotel lobby and grounds were pretty. I liked how you were able to walk to the other 2 resorts next door, and they had a farmers/ crafts market one day. I liked having the laundry in the room - you don't get that at the Marriott Kauai. I would have liked more selection of food than what the restaurants offered, but Whaler's Village was close by. I didn't like the parking spaces being so cramped and too narrow for your rental car."
