The staff at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful thank you I appreciate your hospitality and kindness. Bathrooms need exhaust fans and rooms need a lift . "Heaven on Earth with beautiful greenery all around. The cleanliness of the property is absolutely top notch and every corner is maintained perfectly. The hotel has many activities and playing areas for kids, which our daughters enjoyed a lot throughout the stay. One of the most unique experiences was the beautiful garden inside the hotel. They have peach and pear trees, and we were lucky to taste fresh peaches directly from the garden — very delicious and unforgettable. The property also has very good sitting areas where guests can relax peacefully while enjoying the scenic surroundings. The housekeeping service was truly exceptional and of the highest standards. Our room was cleaned twice daily — once during the daytime and again in the evening with freshening up service ***** with sweets placed in the room, which made us feel very special. We really appreciate the hardworking housekeeping team members Sardha, Tara, Kabita, Nisha, Srijana, Soneya, Suraj, and Mikma for their excellent service and warm hospitality. Special thanks to the charming and professional manager Mr. Sunil Acharya for taking such good care of the guests. Kudos to the entire team for making our stay memorable. Only two small areas need improvement — the hotel approach road requires repair work, and sometimes the WiFi connection was not stable. Apart from that, everything was excellent. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay and would definitely love to visit again."

"The property is located just above the town kalimpong, by walk 35 to 40 mins , by car just 10 mins . The property is well looked after , full greenery and serene .Staff members too good specially Dawa the champ ...who made our stay worth. Food is good , cleanliness too, inclusive breakfast items need to be added I guess .If u want peace and quiet this is the spot. Would recommend 👍👍"

"Hotel Elgin at Kalimpong, is a well kept heritage property with sweeping views of the mountains. The location is good as some of the good eateries are at a walking distance. The bar, restaurant, rooms, toilets etc are all beautiful, in keeping with its old English vibe. The staff is courteous, food is good, all in all we had a very pleasant two nights stay. Only negative thing we felt that, the outside terrace had very few seating groups. The space can easily accommodate 4 to 5 groups, instead of two (6 seaters) which get filled very fast."

"We stayed at Oong Lee for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and luxurious, with a beautiful view. You can see the Kanchenjunga range clearly from the property. Wonderful hospitality- there was always someone to help us when we needed anything, whether it was hot tea at the end of a day of traveling or guidance on sightseeing options, or even help with arranging transport. Good, hearty and healthy Breakfast and Dinner. One of the best bonfire and barbecues I have been at- you can't beat the bamboo-cooked items. We sang and partied well into the night with our fantastic hosts."
