"This hotel was our overnight stop during a drive from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. I was a bit apprehensive since I'd never visited this city before, but we had a good, restful night. Overall, the hotel wasn't bad. I was given a room on the third floor. I booked it for 950 baht on Trip.com, but the local visitor information stated 750 baht, which was a bit of a surprise, haha. Other than that, the front desk staff spoke English and were generally friendly. While room conditions might vary, the room I had was in good shape. It's a good place for an overnight stay."

Chakungrao Riverview Hotel
"I only stayed one night here, in a "superior" room on floor 5. The room was very clean and had two single beds, table and chairs, desk, fridge and kettle, wardrobe, and small balcony. AC was the old style in the ceiling, without a remote, and it was noisy. Bathroom could have used some maintenance, as the tub surface was delaminating. No swimming pool or fitness room at this hotel, but they do have conference facilities. Car park is across the street. Breakfast was included in the room price and was above average, very typical buffet style breakfast. Location was excellent, within one block of the river, the night market, and Sirichit Utthayan Park, which is a very nice shady place to walk or run in the morning. Staff were excellent, from check-in to check-out. Can't say enough good words about them - great job! I would return to this hotel. "

"Nice hotel and great staff. Always smiling. Room was very clean. During breakfast which was very good I asked for a coffee refill. I was informed there was an additional charge. I refused. It took the wow out of staying in this hotel. I won’t be back."

"Good service but the room is very dirty, it looks like it was not cleaned at all. There is a lot of dust on the table. The bed has stains and dust. There are insects on the bed too. It is very bad. The floor is dirty. I can't take it. This is my only time here."

"The accommodation cost 995 baht. I expected it to be better than this, but when I got to the room, it didn't look clean. The TV couldn't be turned on. The bed was very wrinkled. The smell of bird droppings on the balcony behind the room was musty. The first floor I got was not as shown in the picture. Luckily, the TV didn't work, so I got a new room that was cleaner than the first one. I recommend going to another hotel for this price."

"Peaceful and quiet. Next to Ping river with cafe and restaurant. Access by car only. Room with reliable wifi, TV program (thai), quite comfortable bed and bedding, effective AC with additional wall fan. Water pressure and temp is good. Breakfast served by set. Overall a pleasant one night."

"We had wonderful long stay at the hotel when visiting family in Kampheang phet. Staff was super nice and friendly. Everything clean and comfortable. Excellent AC cool rooms with comfortable beds. Will definitely stay here again."
