"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ramathra Fort. The location is stunning—it sits high on a hill with a beautiful view of the lake and the countryside. It is the perfect place if you want peace and quiet away from the city. The Luxury Tent ⛺️ are very spacious and comfortable. They have a great old-world charm but still feel luxurious. The highlight for us was the wildlife! During our night safari we were lucky enough to spot a hyena, fox, jackal, and wild boar. The night jungle safari was amazing and very exciting. We also enjoyed the peaceful boating on the lake, the village walk, and the delicious homemade food. If you are looking for a unique heritage experience, this is the place to be!""

"Huge palace built in 1930s with all the original paintings and furniture. The renovation has retained all its character and avoided turning it into an American style luxury hotel, thankfully. The hosts were charming and most interesting. We loved looking around the farm but the City Palace tour is the absolute highlight - leave plenty of time for it. The museum within has excellent English signage so we learnt a lot. Most amazingly the Maharani is on a clean up campaign so some of the town streets were free of litter, and the City Palace spotless."
