"We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and absolutely loved the vibe. The staff, food, and location were excellent, and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean was stunning. The hotel itself feels cozy, warm, and open, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. I also highly recommend booking some excursions through them, as they work with excellent providers. Overall, it’s definitely a fantastic option for staying in Zanzibar."

"After 8 days on safari on bone rattling roads, and an epic day hike up Kilimanjaro, the Marifiki bungalows was a perfect way to recover! Beautiful bungalows set amongst lush greenery, soft sand, a stunning pool, and the sound of the sea against the shore. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious, whilst maintaining a cosy atmosphere, with balconies for a morning coffee, or to mingle with the bush-babies at night! The restaurant was rustic, yet clean, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the local dancers one evening were brilliant! The food was the best we’ve ever eaten on holiday (and we’ve travelled to many parts of the world), particularly the healthy breakfast options. Yes, the beach nearby isn’t postcard perfect and is sludgy when the tide goes out, but the resort itself has an elevated sand area for sunbathing, and you don’t get hassled by beach sellers! Moreover, we had no other tourists walking past, so we truly felt like we were in paradise, secluded from the world. The resorts greatest asset? The staff. All so friendly and welcoming, but a special shout out to Jackson Jr. On top of looking after us so well, he had brilliant humour, and made us laugh continuously. Asante sana to Jackson Jr, and the whole team at the Marifiki bungalows. Highly recommended!"

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything felt personalised and tailored to our family, which made the whole experience even more special. The food was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and varied, and we genuinely looked forward to dining each day. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The most memorable moment of our holiday was when I proposed to my girlfriend on the resort's jetty. It couldn't have gone any better, and a huge thank you goes to Klara, the Guest Manager, for helping to organise everything so perfectly. Her attention to detail and support made the moment truly unforgettable, and we'll always be grateful. Thank you to everyone at White Paradise Resort for making our holiday so special. "Shooting Star's highlight was the amazing infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The garden view room decorated in modern zanzibari style was charming. The bathroom was beautiful. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing. The buffet breakfast was the best I had in Zanzibar. The sandy beach was steps down from the lodge and it was amazing to have long walks in the coastline. The owner and all staff were very friendly. The wireless connection was good."

"It is a lovely big room with an ensuite, separate toilet and dressing area. The room was serviced every day, including being sprayed at night. Breakfast was great and set me up for the day, with the dining area having a lovely view. We had a nice dinner there, specifically coming up with a menu to accommodate a vegan diet. The staff were so friendly - I was even given a Swahili name while being shown around!! Transport can be arranged if you need a driver. I enjoyed my stay here. Great hospitality."
