Best resort in Zanzibar that gives you 5 star treatment ! Absolutely loved their service & warm welcome. Stuff is super nice & kind. If you need any assistance they are kind enough to help you. Their breakfast & dinner buffet is amazing! There’s always music playing + a live band. So many activities to enjoy at the resort. I will choose Sea Cliff resort again!

OMG this place is truly the embodiment of luxury without being stuffy or pretentious. The location is paradise, on the ocean, with lovely sunrise and sunset views. The attention to detail in the check-in process and decor is magnificent. The food choices are exceptional and despite there being many food and drinks options, everything actually tastes good. The staff make the experience though. They were all so helpful and genuinely kind. By far, this was one of my best resort stays ever

We had 5 days to relax in Zanzibar after a 10 day safari and we chose Chuini as it looked gorgeous. It is indeed lovely, but it is down a long dirt road with no other amenities around- that means you hire a driver to go somewhere or stay at the resort. Staying at the resort is not a bad thing- the pools are wonderful, the food is really good and varied and the grounds with the ruins is lovely. The beach is not a swimming beach so you are best going to the the north or east of the island for white sand beaches and swimming. The hotel staff were very helpful in organizing all of our day excursions and we got to see a lot of the island on these excursions. The rooms are beautiful suites with a sitting area and lovely patios too. Unfortunately our room backed on to the main road so it was very loud with fisherman leaving early in the morning (5am!) and then for most of the day with people passing back and forth. The spa is wonderful - we managed to get an excellent massage on our first day. But on Friday- our last day of relaxing we had looked forward to a day of pool and massage and chill, we were told the spa is closed on Friday- wish we had been told of that as it doesn't' state that anywhere in the spa literature! To add to our last day disappointment the resort ran out of beer on Friday- a bit strange for an upscale resort. Overall it was a very pleasant 5 day stay.

The seaside hotel, although the beach is not very good, but the scenery is pleasant. The 5th floor is a restaurant. The restaurant is very good for eating and watching the sea. It is suitable for vacations and is about 5 kilometers from the urban area.

We stayed at Moja Tuu in June'22 for 7 nights with my family, this was my 2nd visit. It was a marvellous stay!! The gardens & landscaping were even more mature and blossoming as compared to my last visit. I booked a 3 bedroom villa with a private infinity pool. The villas were very clean and well decorated rooms with fresh flowers. The living and dining areas were also very clean, and the villa was cleaned twice to thrice a day since we had travelled with kids. The linen and towels were soft & clean and we asked for extra towels which were availed to us at no extra cost, the mattress are just so perfect!. The infinity pool at the villa is facing the ocean, the ocean views are just out of this world, the beautiful sunrise\. My kids really enjoyed their time at this hotel, they have a new kids play area near the main pool which the kids loved it!There was always a hotel staff with the kids at the kids play area, the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The General Manager Mr.Amit Dhanda and the team goes out of their way to help, he helped us with our need to hire a car to drive around the island. He always kept checking that we were comfortable and needed anything. The food was delicious and fresh, they prepared Special meal for our kids, the local sea food is a must at this place, we booked a private dinner at our villa - a lobster and wine dinner, Amazing! There is free wi-fi also.Overall the stay was fantastic, would recommend it over and over again, mind you it is not a typical busy resort, it is a very private and quiet place, a retreat! Will come back soon, Keep up the great work and warm hospitality!!!

Half a meal is convenient

The vacation at Bluebay Beach was awesome! We had a fantastic time. The people are so friendly - from the reception, to the waiters, to the security guards, to Hellen - the nice lady that was cleaning our room. Everything was clean, the food was so good, Live music and show acts almost every night. The area around the pool is cozy and the ocean is just steps away. We loved our time here. Even during the rainy season there is so much to do around the hotel and it’s the perfect spot for trips to Stonetown and Mnembe, because it’s like right in the middle. We will be back! We stayed at the Kena Beach hotel between December 19 and 29, 2023. The hotel and the garden are very beautiful, clean and well maintained. The rooms are large and offer all the conditions. The staff is very friendly and well trained. We also celebrated Christmas at this hotel. Everything was wonderful and well organized by the hotel manager. Everyone was wonderful but Elizabeth, George, Grace, Ramadhani and Khalfan made our holiday perfect. The food was very good and very carefully prepared by the chef. We had many fruits and delicious sweets prepared by Chef. The service was impeccable. Also the recreational activities were great thanks to Kani and Momo from Oclub, who were sensational. The hotel's private beach is wonderful, supervised and well maintained by the hotel staff. Mr. Kombo, who lives right in Matemwe village, organized some memorable trips for us. We want to return to Zanzibar and obviously, we will spend our vacation at this hotel again. We recommend the hotel to everyone who wants a perfect and peaceful vacation.
