"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Location is near the monasteries that we plan to visit. Our room has a balcony and a nice view. There's also a lift in the building, so we don't gave to climb the stairs with heavy luggage. It has a wide variety of breakfast spread. We arrived earlier than check in time, around 2pm, there's no one at the reception. We went back after lunch and were able to check in. Maybe we should have informed them that we are arriving earlier than 3pm."

"The quality of the accommodation is very good. Our room is a room with meteora. The room also sent a bottle of liquor. The point is that the restaurant downstairs is very delicious and the dessert is also. The service staff are extremely kind and help us call the car and give some travel advice. I highly recommend staying here and will have a good travel experience!"

"The location is fantastic! It's right at the foot of the mountains, perfect for travelers with a car. The rooms and cleanliness were great. The hotel has a charming, old-world feel to it, a bit old-fashioned in a good way. Breakfast was also good!"

"The balcony view was stunning. The entire hotel was exquisitely decorated, resembling a castle, and featured a beautiful garden. In the mornings, the trees were filled with the chirping of birds, which was very charming. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was construction going on next door for a new building, starting at 7 AM. The drilling and hammering noises slightly disrupted the tranquil, pastoral atmosphere of the town. The breakfast was also good, all prepared by the hotel itself and quite tasty. Note that this hotel doesn't have an elevator; the beautiful balconies are all on the second floor. The staff at check-in were helpful in carrying our two large suitcases upstairs, but the staff at check-out refused to help, saying it wasn't their responsibility. We two women practically dragged our suitcases down like dead dogs. If you're elderly or frail, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. However, if you don't mind the lack of an elevator, this hotel is excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied."

"Wonderful little guesthouse at the foot of the gigantic rocks. Location was perfect. We arrived 1 hour earlier than I had previously said but it wasn't a problem. I called the owner who lived next door and he came immediately with our room key. Our room was very nice and spacious. We just turned on the aircon and left our little bag and went for lunch at the little taverna at the bottom of the hill. As soon as we had eaten we had to return to our room to lie down in the aircon !!! As Kastraki sits very close to the rocks the temperate was unbelievable. We were booked on a coach tour at 4.15pm to take us to the Meteora. WOW that was unbelievable. Words cannot describe it, you just have to see it to believe it. We only stayed at Kastelia 1 night as we we had travelled from Parga for the day. We left the next morning to make our way back. We called at Metsovo on the way back and that was just beautiful. An alpine village in the hills, what a joy........"
