"This is simply substandard and not a great choice of hotel. The location in central Katerini is excellent and the staff are lovely and most helpful. But the hotel is long overdue a radical restructuring at every possible level. It is a very dated building, with extremely dark and poorly lit interior spaces. The breakfasts are simply awful, lacking fruit or any decent fresh food - apart from the yoghurt. The bar is dismal and depressing and serves possible the worst wine I have ever tasted - and this is in Greece! The rooms are surreal. Some do not have windows. Mine was dusty and everything malfunctioned. Electric fittings were unstable, there was no chest of drawers, the balcony was awful and decrepit, the TV came on in the middle of the night and could not be turned off and the bathroom had a dreadful and almost unusable shower. But above all was the overpowering and overwhelming smell of rancid and revolting cigarette smoke. It permeates the rooms, corridors and bedding. There is little positive to say about this hotel which is simply dated, inadequate and badly in need of a total makeover. A really demoralizing experience."

"Nice quiet location slow 10 - 25 minutes walk to centre of restaurants & Bars and only 5minutes to beach & Bars on beach . Very good breakfast at hotel and we enjoyed some evening meals at hotel our room was excellent great air -con and sun on balcony from 6am with sea views great house keeping very clean nice area round pool plenty of sunbeds and nice pool. Special mention to the reception team especially Elena who made up for no Jet2 rep in resort with great support for the England football team !!!"

"Great place. Rooms are nice and cozy, nice porch. We were surprised with a sauna in the room! Hosts are super friendly and welcoming . They were vey helpful and accommodating . We felt like we are the only guests in the hotel. Food is amazing. They also offered us sandwiches to take with us to the day trips. An excellent place for a mountain getaway could not think of anything wrong . Can’t wait to come back"

"The hotel was pretty nice. Good pool, friendly servers and staff, and the owner was okay. There are some problems this hotel has : 1. It is far from the beach, and walking through the scorching heat 100-500 m just to get to the beach is unpleasant. And I wouldn't start the car just to go 500 m away (in the car it is hotter than outside), and there are lots and lots of mosquitoes. I got bit in the first night over 100 times while I was sleeping and there was a grate on the balcony door that should've prevented this from happening. And I had to cover myself in blankets and in the middle of the summer it is very uncomfortable to do so. There are also wasp nests all over the terrace. On the bright side, the food was good and tasty. The rooms were nice, had all sorts of amenities. The pool was clean. It is an average hotel, and it can go a lot further because it has potential."
