"This place is an absolute horrowshow. Do not stay here. The entire building reeks of cigarettes. The elevator doesn't work. The building has been 'under construction' for who knows how long. Looking at other reviews that I'm seeing after the fact, it looks like more than 12 years?? You will be forced to climb 3 flights of stairs across stripped old wood floors that are stained and filthy. Staff is there minimally, probably to avoid being screamed at with the dumpster fire that is this hotel. If you're unfortunate to have ended up in Kenora in the first place, my condolences. If you've ended up being duped into paying over $400 dollars for two nights at the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, you may be questioning your life choices, much like I am right now. The stale cigarette smell permeates every room. The window air conditioner can barely keep up with the heat. The taps and shower run tepid at best. What an absolute joke. I cannot believe I spent so much money on this hotel. I won't be surprised if I've come home with cockroaches or bedbugs or flesh-eating bacteria. Absolutely disgusting."
