If youre thinking of booking your evening meal, then dont bother. 4 hours to reveive 2 courses. Even then the burger ans fries was cold. Then to another extreme. My starter and main came out together the following night. Id finished both before my colleagues measly starter arrived 90 mins after mine arrived.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional treatment by a member of staff We stayed at Premier Inn Kettering on Friday 25 September, booking two family rooms for a leisure trip with our children. We have also used Premier Inn regularly for business travel over a long period. We arrived at approximately 9:45pm. The car park was poorly lit, and the space where we parked had no clearly visible floor markings or signage indicating that guests were not permitted to park there. The night receptionist was on duty at the time and were present outside where we were parking but she did not advise us that we had parked incorrectly. When we checked out at approximately 10:15am on Saturday 26 September, an receptionist seed to be asian lady with brown complexion followed us outside to the car park and confronted us in an extremely rude and aggressive manner, shouting at us about where we had parked, in front of our minor children and other guests. I moved the vehicle away and returned to ask why the matter had been handled in such an inappropriate manner. Rather than dealing with the situation professionally, she continued to be confrontational, threatened us with a PCN and told me that I should not come back to the hotel. Most concerningly, when I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and covered her name badge. I have video footage outside the premises regarding our interaction and can provide it to management if required. This was not a situation where we were trying to avoid paying for parking or taking someone else’s space. There was plenty of parking available when we arrived. If there was a restriction, a simple explanation at check-in or a polite conversation at checkout would have resolved the matter immediately. What makes this particularly disappointing is that we have been long-standing Premier Inn customers and have booked the brand repeatedly for both family but mostly business stays. After this experience, we are seriously reconsidering continuing to use Premier Inn for our future business travel. I strongly request that management investigate this incident, including reviewing any available CCTV the night when we parked and the time of the incident also speak with the staff member and the night receptionist who was present when we arrived. A parking issue can be resolved professionally. Publicly shouting at guests, threatening them, refusing to identify yourself and telling a paying customer not to return is completely unacceptable. I expect this incident to be investigated properly and the conduct of the staff member addressed accordingly.

Accommodation very good as I have come to expect from Premier Inn. Will continue ue yo use whenever possible. Staff friendly and helpful, nothing was too much troubles

This hotel was appalling, We came to check in and the receptionist was very hostile cannot remember her name but she had black hair and was wearing glasses, we then went into our room and found hair and ***** all over the carpet that had clearly not been hoovered. the bathroom had spat up toothpaste all over the floor which for a busy hotel you’d think they knew what general hygiene was, i had to complain and have a receptionist in my room hoovering and cleaning up which is a bad invasion of privacy and definitely should not be allowed to happen. We got given free breakfast for the inconvenience and the breakfast was disgusting, cold beans, sausages and bacon looked raw. Overall a hotel stay from hell and i would NOT reccomend this hotel to anyone in a million years absolutely disgusting.

Usual premier inn standard hotel but only told that the restaurant and bar wouldn't be open during our stay the day before by email. Being a out of town hotel finding a place to eat and a night time drink was a pain and hassle after being out all day. If we had been told this earlier we would have booked somewhere else

Very poor experience. The room was ridiculously hot, the heating controls were broken and it was nearly 30°c in our room despite it only being 14°c outside. The bedside table had been ripped off the wall, there were no plugs working by the bed and only 1 towel was provided for 3 of us. Despite requesting a room for an infant with baby cot, travelling with a buggy etc. We were given a room with no cot and the room was on the 1st floor (no lift in our building) so we had to struggle up the stairs with the buggy. There is no phone in the room so had to walk backwards and forwards to the other building to explain these issues at reception (didn't get sorted). The car park had vans taking up 2 spaces so parking was tight and there were screws and nails all over the carpark so be careful when arriving or leaving as it's likely you'll get a puncture.

Hotel was adequate, although no modern facilities such as USB charging sockets. The attached Brewers Fayre was poor - the service was poor, and they stopped serving food at 7.30pm. The meal deal was poor - we ended up paying more than if we had not paid for the deal. We won't be staying there again.

Very basic hotel that is in desperate need of updating. Two people on reception, one of which is a trainee. Slow service. Room wasn't clean and linen was of poor quality. No cooked breakfast available only a small continental. Our booking was competed over the phone but on arrival at the hotel we had to wait half an hour for the receptionist to put the twin beds in there and make the beds. Not impressed with this hotel. Not sure if it is also going to be closing soon.

This hotel should look at a way of cooling the rooms during the current heatwave. There was no aircon, just a fan which was useless. It was so hot it was difficult to breathe. Unbearable!! We ended up trying to cool down under a cold shower. You can't expect people to sleep in these rooms. It must be a health and safety issue, especially for older people like ourselves. We checked in after midnight in the early hours of Saturday morning due to having a puncture and not being able to travel the 80 miles home. Although the website accepted our Friday night stay, the receptionist insisted we would need to wait until 3pm as it was a Saturday booking. Eventually he relented and changed the date. However, we were still charged the Saturday night rate which is double the Friday night.
