"A month at this hotel was a true fairy tale for us! We felt right at home thanks to the incredibly friendly and kind family who took care of us from the very first moment. They were also ready to help with literally everything! When we mentioned that we wanted to cook for ourselves and were looking for accommodation with a kitchen, they simply... built us a kitchen! It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated to incredibly delicious, generous meals. Breakfasts are a special treat here: always plenty of food, fresh ingredients, and everything is incredibly delicious. You can also rent their bicycles to explore the amazing Sigiriya. It was amazing! Riding along picturesque trails amidst the wild nature was a dream! Even within the hotel grounds, you can feel a connection with nature: colorful birds sing their melodies, squirrels dart through the palm trees, and monitor lizards leisurely wander through the bushes – true harmony with nature. We left with a heavy heart, as this place became our home for a whole month. We recommend it to anyone seeking warm hospitality, comfort, and a connection with nature. Don't hesitate – this hotel is definitely worth your consideration!"

"We had a great time at Sigiriya Nature Resort, a beautiful place in the green. The owner family is very friendly and helpful. They organized several private car an Tuk Tuk transports for a good price. All worked fine. In addition, we booked the village tour, which was an amazing experience incl. a beautiful boot trip and cooking with locals. The food was fantastic. Prasanna organized a massage and we got 20% discount. Prasanna is also doing private Safaries for a good price. Finally we also had dinner at the accomodation, where the mother and daughter prepared delicious food. It is definitely a place you should stay."

"We spent two nights in the Alp villa close to the pool. Very nice. We was warmly welcomed with a cool beverage. Breakfast was great and the manager (acctually his first day at work) maked sure that everything was fine. We will recomend this place."

"We have spent 3 nights in this beautiful place. The guests are adorable and very attentive! The room has everything you need in a beautiful garden. The only negative point is noise in the morning and/or evening that sometimes prevented us from sleeping... with a baby that wasn't the ideal."

"Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere so you can’t walk out. Nice pool and restaurant but room, albeit large had a bad sewage smell in the bathroom (room 902). It was reported but didn’t remedy it. The hotel is Ideal for an evening’s relaxing after sightseeing. We’re not impressed with the room service person who was actually hassling us in the evening. Constantly ringing the bell asking if we want water/towels. Well no, we don’t, you’ve already cleaned our room and left water and towels. He came here the last 2 nights and we tipped him. Perhaps we shouldn’t have as he’s now become a nuisance ringing twice tonight on our door despite the first time me telling him we didn’t need anything. He’s now come back and asked can I come in? I told him no and closed the door. Sorry we don’t want to be hassled like this on holiday. We want to relax if we need anything we’ll ask. This has put us off returning here."

"We ordered some Chinese food for dinner and waited for almost an hour. The taste was OK. The price on the menu was for one person, which was not clear at the beginning. Seeing that there were two of us, it became double when I paid the bill. It was a bit of a rip-off! Other things were OK"
