The B&B offers excellent pier and airport transfer services! As soon as I booked the room, I contacted them to arrange the pick-up time, and the owner replied very quickly, which was a great relief for us traveling with large luggage. The beds and pillows at the B&B were just right â not too soft, not too firm â making for a comfortable sleep. Breakfast included steamed buns, soy milk, fresh milk, and steamed eggs; it was simple yet nutritious, and the meat buns were delicious. We mentioned wanting to rent a scooter, and after we checked in, the owner thoughtfully waited downstairs to drive us to the scooter rental shop, saving us a considerable amount on taxi fares. If we ever visit Kinmen again, we'll definitely choose to stay here. Highly, highly recommend!

Got a free upgrade of my room. Staff is very quiet but very helpful when asked. You just need to be more proactive. Room is very big. Hotel is walking distance to shanwai bus station which is the terminal of the bus station. From there, you can take the your bus or go somewhere else. Hotel also close to few eatery. Breakfast is nice. I like the porridge. Toilet ventilation can be further improve. But since in staying alone, it's not much of a problem to me.

GGuest UserI really loved the old-world charm of the 88 Gu Yi Gu Zuo B&B. â¤ď¸ The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was comfortable and unique, really giving a feel for Kinmen's traditional Fujian-style architecture. The proprietress was kind and welcoming, always happy to help with anything, making you feel right at home.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kinmen who wants to experience the beauty of its traditional houses. The 88 Gu Yi Gu Zuo B&B is truly worth a stay! They are a chain with 9 different themed guesthouses in Kinmen, so I'll definitely be back to try another one next time.

GGuest UserThe homestay is a short walk from the bus stop (for buses No Red 1 and No 2 from the main Kinmen town of Jincheng) and a 7-11 convenience store. The traditional Fujian building is beautiful and an attraction in itself, with an atmospheric courtyard where guests could chill with coffee and/or a meal. But it has been newly renovated with modern amenities, and the place is very clean and well kept.
The host was warm and really very helpful. When he heard that we wanted to walk up Mt Taiwu, he drove us to the start of the walking trail. He also gave us a contact for a taxi driver in case we needed a ride back. And when he learnt that we were tracing our ancestors, he brought us to meet an elder who might have a family register. Really thankful to have met a host like him.

SSightsee BugWhen we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the âvillagesâ have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of âhelp yourselfâ bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

It was my first time traveling alone, and I was a little worried about feeling lonely. But the owner was like an older brother, offering me all sorts of help; I felt a familial bond with him. If any friends ever visit Kinmen, I will definitely recommend this guesthouse!

The only drawback, or perhaps an advantage, was the convenient transportation. The guesthouse is located next to a main road, and you can often hear motorcycles whizzing by.

DdretThe old house is a 5-minute walk from Jincheng Station. You can go to the Kinmen General Military Headquarters for a guided tour at night, or walk to the vegetable market to eat authentic food. If you don't see the boss when you arrive at the store, just call him. The boss is very kind. I originally booked a single room, but because of a system error, he helped me upgrade to a family room for free

GGuest UserI had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth.
The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though itâs a little away from the main busy areas â something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic.
Overall, itâs great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. Iâd happily stay here again.

The owner is incredibly welcoming and offers pier pick-up and drop-off service đ The rooms are clean and well-equipped, with a refrigerator, water dispenser, and kitchen available for your use on the first floor. The location is superb, with a 7-Eleven, drugstore, and pharmacy right outside the door. It's also just 3 bus stops to the left for Jincheng Bus Station and 3 stops to the right for Carrefour. Perfect for those who can't ride an electric scooter â hassle-free shopping and getting around!

GGuest UserBecause they are not in the city, they originally wanted to rent a locomotive, but because it rained, and I was too late to say that the car rental place has been closed (18:00), so I had to stop, but fortunately there is a bus stop near the hotel. The traffic to the airport and the city center is quite convenient. It is not necessary to rent a locomotive or take a taxi, but the bus runs every hour. You have to pay attention to the station time. Jincheng drives on time. But it takes 10 minutes to get to the hotel. If it is slow, it will be about 20 minutes.
