"We stayed at the Hotel Post in Stuben for the first time on September 6, 2025. Driving by, it looked inviting, and parking was available. The service was attentive and friendly, but seemed very stressed. My wife's salad was served with feta instead of Camembert. The garlic soup was yellow and contained no garlic. My Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were very good, but unfortunately, they were completely cold inside. The serving dish was also cold. I mentioned this when paying, but all I got was, "Sorry, I'll pass it on to the kitchen." We decided against ordering coffee. All in all, well-intentioned but poorly executed. Great location, but the food is below average. Not justified by the price."

"As always, the Hotel Mondschein gave us a very pleasant stay. It was not our first time there and we would like to come back next year. The location of the hotel is definitely a plus point for us, as it is not far from the gondola and therefore you have flexibility as to when you start and end your day on the slopes. But it was not just the location that convinced us, the Mondschein also impressed us with its cuisine. The schnitzel and cordon bleu as well as the Kaiserschmarren are our favorites on the menu. After a long day of skiing, we are very happy that we can now use the new sauna area to relax before dinner. In addition to dinner, breakfast also offered a large selection and there was something for everyone. This time we spent our stay in the Mondschein Chalet, where the rooms are a bit larger than in the main building. The shuttle service worked without any problems when required, but we also enjoyed walking the stretch to the main building and enjoyed the mostly nice weather. Right at the start of our stay (a Friday), it was party night in the hotel bar. We had a lot of fun and drank an Aperol or two to round off our first day of skiing. We were thrilled as always and can only recommend a stay at the Hotel Mondschein."

"A very nice, clean and cozy hotel in a beautiful and quiet area. Our room was located in the building on the other side of the road (tucked away from the main road). It was an old building that could use some TLC...and WiFi, but nevertheless, was pretty charming. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious with large selection of items. I am glad we decided to have dinner in the same hotel. Food and service were great. They have parking in front of the main building, but you can also park on the street next to the second building."

"Great location and very clean. To mention would be the sauna in the cellar we used daily. We had booked half-pension light. Great breakfast and the jause in the afternoon we found very welcome. In the evening we could pick out something from the dining card. All dining was very good quality. A successful holiday around the coal house."
