The room is an insult to all other budget hotels. Never again."

"The food was delicious and there was a vegan selection for both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were clean. The beds are for hard mattress lovers. The staff tried very hard, but the organization in advance was a disaster. The hotel staff are hard to reach and you are always forwarded to the head office, which often cannot help you. The allocation of the transfer and the booking of drinks to the rooms also did not work at all. Some of the houses are very far from the main building."

"Nice hotel. The young lady from the reception was very friendly and provided me with all the information and restaurant recommendations for dinner. The single room was very clean and nicely designed. It was to the side street and was therefore pleasantly quiet. I deliberately chose for the vegan breakfast. But afterwards I have to say, as a Rhinesteig Wanderer, I need something hand-fast. There was a floor full of small delicacies. All was made by yourself and prepared with love, but just not the right for me. The price of something above €18 I think it is fair. That has done a lot of work. I would like to highlight the kindness of the entire staff. I felt very well."

"Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The building is very old and outdated! The bathroom is an outrage! Unhygienic and filthy, just a rubber cubicle! Don't eat there on Sundays; you'll only get leftovers, as they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The staff tries very hard, but they can't compensate for the building's shortcomings. It's way overpriced for what you get! We won't be back!"

"Starting from Frankfurt, I drove 158 kilometers and finally arrived at the Seven Peaks Mountain in Konigswinter, the suburb of Bonn, the capital of West Germany. I took a slow walk along the mountain road and overlooked the "Dragon Castle" that witnessed German history and the most beautiful section of the Rhine Valley! Fortunately, I was able to book the century-old Steinberg Grand View Hotel located halfway up the mountain just one week before departure. When I walked into the lobby, I unexpectedly discovered that many world leaders, including Grandpa Jiang and Clinton, had stayed here. This hotel is similar to the Xijiao Hotel in Shanghai and the Diaoyutai in Beijing... Put down your luggage and walk up the trails on the back mountain of the hotel step by step, while experiencing the beauty of the natural oxygen bar, you will discover the magic of the ruins of the medieval church and the former site of the Petersberg Mountain Road Railway Station."

Bad needs renovation, fungal smell, doors (wood) fault In the sleeping area sticking sticks from the purse, laminate floor raised by moisture, seats as the lock waste totally used breakfast from the discounter (20 minutes waiting for breads) , had to be backed up. Always just a few in the cart. Rooms neighbors had made the same experience"

"We had booked through Arcor and traveled with our dog. First, an unfriendly gentleman informed us that dogs had to be registered. We had, of course, done this on the Arcor booking portal. Then we were sternly and relentlessly informed that dogs could not be walked during breakfast time from 6:30 a.m. onwards, as it would disturb guests having breakfast. The route out of the hotel leads past the tables, but at a sufficient distance. All the talking was to no avail, so I set my alarm for the following day to make sure we could walk the dog in time. If we hadn't been so exhausted, we would have looked for alternative accommodation. When we left, a very friendly lady was on duty who declared her colleague's ban to be completely untrue. She apologized and offered us a room for the return journey at a lower price. That was very nice, of course, but we will stay in a different hotel on the way home."

"The hotel is in a very nice, secluded location. The staff were very friendly and helpful! A clean and modern breakfast room with a wide selection! Unfortunately, even though it only opened in 2017, the hotel is already showing its age. There seems to be an absolute shortage of staff, and this was also communicated to us. This unfortunately has an impact on the cleanliness and maintenance of the building and outdoor area. The price is therefore not justified. Very unfortunate and one can only hope that the owner will change things. Otherwise it would have been an all-round perfect stay. Good luck and success, dear JUFA Hotel Königswinter 🍀"

"The hotel is in a beautiful location, with the sights just a few minutes away! The property itself is lovely, however, the room was unacceptable! The carpet was filthy, and the bathroom was so moldy and dirty – I've rarely seen anything like it! There were cobwebs everywhere in the corners, and the walls desperately need a fresh coat of paint! The stairs to the first floor look rather quaint because of the carpet covering them! The breakfast was plentiful! It's such a shame that such a wonderful property has been allowed to fall into such disrepair! The room is in dire need of renovation! I can only speak for the wing located to the left of the reception."
