Dormy Inn Express Koriyama Hot Spring ★★★
"Nothing in particular, but even though it was before check-in, the front desk staff were very helpful."
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Koriyama Ekimae ★★★
"I stayed on 8F with a nice view."
Hotel Crown Hills Koriyama ★★★
"Overall, it was good. They had a wide selection of shampoos. The breakfast was pretty standard, but then again, the price was quite affordable."
HOTEL GLOBAL VIEW KORIYAMA ★★★
"On the way to Akita, we were caught in rain, probably due to the typhoon, and we thought it would be dangerous to drive on the highway at night, so we quickly looked for a hotel to stay at. It was close to Koriyama Station, so we had a hard time finding it. There was also a premium hotel next door, which made it even more difficult. The rooms and lobby were very clean. What was great was the large public bath. There was a shower in the room, but we had been driving in the rain and were physically and mentally exhausted from the long drive, so being able to stretch our legs in the bath was very good for our tired bodies. We took a bath again early the next morning before leaving. This is definitely one hotel I'd like to visit again."
Hotel Hamatsu ★★★★
"It was a great quiet environment"
Shikisai Ichiriki ★★★★
"The food, service and attitude were all excellent."
Hotel Global View Premium Koriyama ★★★
"It was a beautiful city hotel. There were many convenience stores and restaurants around, which was convenient. Koriyama Station is also within walking distance, of course. There were several cooperative parking lots. I paid 1000 yen at the front desk at check-in."
APA Hotel Koriyama-Ekimae ★★★
"Close to the station and easy to understand. Easy because there are convenience stores and taverns nearby. The room is clean and there are plenty of amenities and towels. Also, I definitely wanted to use it,"
Hotel Route-Inn Koriyama Inter ★★★
"The bed was spacious and very comfortable."

KORIYAMA VIEW HOTEL ANNEX
"The staff were very friendly and the breakfast had a wide variety of food, all of which was delicious. It was a great trip."
Hotel C&I
"There's only one convenience store around the hotel, and no restaurants. There used to be several, but they've all closed. As others have pointed out, the hotel's design likely reflects a converted apartment building. The central atrium on each floor lets in fresh air, making the hallways cold in winter. There's a large natural hot spring bath on the second floor, but it's small, likely because it was converted from a room, and there's only enough space for three people to wash. However, the quality of the hot spring water is not bad. The room is 30 square meters, but the air conditioning isn't adequate, making it a little chilly in winter. The layout is odd, and the outlets are inconveniently positioned. There's supposedly a mini convenience store on the first floor, but the selection was so poor it couldn't even be called a shop. The hot spring appears to be open for day-trip visitors, but I'm not sure if anyone actually uses it."

A Heartwarming Inn - Yunoyado Rakusan
Gekko Onsen Kurheim
"I was glad to have the rice at the restaurant in the building in the room. The staff was kind and impressed! The hot springs were also excellent in quality and became skin twitch!"
Toyoko Inn Koriyama
"During the breakfast buffet, the kitchen staff were kind and polite, and asked me about the menu."
Onsen Petit Hotel Yukori Bandai Atami
"It's about a 1-minute walk from JR Bandai Atami Station. This is a hot spring inn located in front of the station. It was renovated from a closed inn and is now open as an inn specializing in day-trip bathing and overnight stays. There is a cafe at the entrance where you can check in. The shared facilities and rooms are new and clean. Since it is an overnight stay only, you are free to bring your own food. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and hot water in the shared space. There are various types of rooms, but the atmosphere is more like a dormitory than an inn. The hot spring is very good. In particular, the bathroom with a tile painting of a nude woman is very tasteful. It is recommended for those who want to stay at Bandai Atami Onsen at a reasonable price."
Kirakuya-Inn
"It's a neat and lovely hot spring town The service staff is very polite and welcoming Maybe it is off-season? The large bath on the first floor feels good. Although the cold pool is not cold enough, it is very satisfying. Surprisingly, the oven temperature is very high, the thermometer writes 90 degrees and I don't know if it is true or false, but it is really hot to stay for a long time, and it is impossible to achieve 25 minutes of protein change. I got up in my early 5 o'clock and finally got to the exclusive landscape on the fourth floor. Breakfast is full, it is quite ordinary Japanese breakfast."
Suirin-Tei
"It was a ski trip, but the hot spring ♨️ hot water was good and very healed. The meal was also a set meal style, but anyway, the rice was delicious and I couldn't help but refill it! It was a Showa atmosphere on the outside, but the service of the elderly was stable, and the room was clean and very satisfying. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity"
Moritaya
"Moritaya is a small inn, but all the staff were wonderful and full of hospitality. There is no large public bath, but the rooms have hot spring water straight from the source, and you can use the four private baths for free. There was a wide variety of food, and everything was delicious, so I was very happy. The Akabeko chopstick rests were so cute that I bought one to take home. The tableware was also lovely, and it enriched my soul. In the lounge, there is unlimited sake available at certain times, and the massage chairs are free. This is an inn I would definitely like to visit again."
Auberge Suzukane
"We've been targeting a visit to Auberge Suzukane as a result of positive feedback from several friends that have visited here. They mentioned the wonderful "Okami-san" (proprietress) and her staff, as well as the excellent cuisine, as reasons to visit this far-reaching corner of the mountainous part of Fukushima. Overall, we're glad we decided to stay here, and there's also no shortage of things to do in the area (you probably want to rent a car, however.) We stayed in the VIP Room Kinu, the top-tier accommodation, which was recently renovated in October 2024. The space embodies stylish modern Japanese aesthetics — low-key, muted tones — with cutting-edge technology and artistic flair. It also stands out by offering both an open-air onsen and a Ganban-yoku (hot stone spa), the latter being a dry sauna-like experience where guests lie on heated natural stones. Though the private onsen was delightful — Bandai Atami hot springs are a favorite of ours — it was a bit snug for two people. However, every room at Suzukane boasts free-flowing, direct-source Bandai Atami hot spring baths, each spanning an impressive 90 square meters and featuring a Western living area, Japanese tatami room, and a bedroom with proper beds. What elevates Kinu to VIP status is likely its recent renovation and unique artistic touches. Suzukane also offers a compelling summer onsen option, as both private rental baths, Kane-no-yu and Suzu-no-yu, feature both hot and cold spring baths, making them enjoyable year-round. The staff at Suzukane were outstanding. Our Nakai-san, Ms. Amitou, was professional, attentive, and always available. She also served our dinner alongside the Okami-san in a dynamic tag-team effort. Both women originally worked in wedding planning, which explains their natural hospitality and conversational ease — something not always common in Japan. At such an intimate luxury ryokan, where time and effort are devoted to guest interaction, their enthusiasm and pride in Suzukane shined through. A particularly memorable touch came when we mentioned traveling to Nanyo (Yamagata Prefecture) the next day. The Okami-san not only offered detailed recommendations but later returned with a professionally organized binder filled with custom printouts — maps, route options, descriptions, and photos of attractions. She also takes an active role in the culinary aspect: foraging local wild vegetables, making the breakfast salad dressing, and pickling vegetables that accompany the rice dishes. Dining at Suzukane was exceptional. The presentation was stunning, ingredients were meticulously selected, and flavors were well-balanced without being overpowering. Our kaiseki dinner started with a standout appetizer: seasonal Onion Mousse with caviar, olive, and lemon sauce, served as a dipping accompaniment for raw purple Asparagus — a rare and prized seasonal delicacy in Fukushima. The Miyagi Prefecture oysters were sublime, rivaling (if not surpassing) those from Kumamoto or "

"It's a little bit of a walk from the station, but there are better restaurants around the hotel than in Omachi. The room was clean and nice."
