"This homestay experience far exceeded our expectations and left us feeling incredibly warm and welcomed! We drove from Burqin that morning, arriving in Kuitun close to 6 PM. The host was incredibly welcoming and chatty, inviting us to taste local wine and fresh grapes right upon arrival, making us feel instantly at home, like visiting dear friends. The room was incredibly spacious, modernly designed, and immaculately clean. The moment we entered our room through the grape-vine-covered corridor was absolutely breathtaking! The biggest surprise was the mini-zoo tucked away within the guesthouse, featuring rabbits, peacocks, and alpacas. The incredibly heartwarming sight of a mother mare with her foal, and the chance to pick fresh vegetables from their organic garden, were truly delightful. In the evenings, guests gathered for barbecues, chatted around a bonfire, danced traditional Xinjiang dances, and enjoyed fresh-cut watermelon generously provided by the host. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting many second and third-generation Han Chinese locals, just like the owners, who were born and raised in Xinjiang. Their vibrant outlook on life and their passionate way of expressing it beautifully integrated Han Chinese culture with the unique characteristics of the local ethnic groups. This was a truly special and immersive cultural encounter during our Xinjiang journey. Should we return to Kuitun, we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to stay at the hosts' guesthouse again and meet these wonderful and respectable local second and third-generation Han Chinese once more."

"The room is super big, the hot spring and swimming pool are very nice, the kids don't want to leave when they play. The hotel didn't urge us to check out. I'm very satisfied. The Dushanzi Grand Canyon is next to it, it takes more than ten minutes to drive there, play around and soak in the pool before leaving, it's very comfortable~"

"(Continued from the previous post) Kuitun was the cleanest and tidiest city we visited in Xinjiang during our ten-day stay. This may sound awkward, but the cars in Kuitun are very well-behaved. Unlike in some other places, they don't change lanes without turning on their indicators or cut in. I read in a book that Kuitun is a good place for retirement, but I didn't believe it. If you have more time, or if it's not your first time in Xinjiang, you should definitely spend a few days in Kuitun; it's truly wonderful. The Ali BBQ we had in Kuitun was the best barbecue we had in the past two weeks, and it was worth the long wait. (However, we couldn't add the lamb skewers later, so we had to go early; the lamb skewers were so delicious that you'll want to bang your head against the wall.)"
