"Kuruman was an overnight stop for our family of 6 on the way to Namibia. We were not expecting much based on the neighbourhood and condition of some of the properties we drove past. Set behind a large green hedge was a welcome sight of a green tranquil garden with very comfortable rooms and a very friendly proprietor (Lynn-Mari). We were upgraded and "the parents" were given our own room at no extra cost with the 4 kids in their own room (as opposed to all 6 of us in the family room). In the morning we had a delicious breakfast and carried on our travels."

"The rooms were welcoming, the location perfect as we were stopping to see the Wonderwerk Cave close by, and the hosts made us feel like family. The Eye of Kuruman bubbles up very close to the guest house, but the stream flows through the bottom of the guest house property. We went for a walk through the beautiful garden with the spring water flowing through in a stream with a little bridge to stop and enjoy the garden and spring water. The breakfast was 5 star experience, cooked perfectly with far options than a normal English breakfast. The hosts allowed us to use some facilities in the main eating room for our dinner. The entire experience left us refreshed and not willing to leave. A 6 star experience."

"We - our family and me had a booking for 2 nights in this venue; we left the site as soon as possible because of some unbearable conditions: There was no hygienic concept at all (Employees/Cook didn’t wear masks and did not respect the necessary distance, No sanitizer) Bed linens and towels were used or not cleaned A total lack of any service Nobody showed us around / how to navigate thru the property. (Locks, doors etc.) Garbage/rubbish next to our rooms No manager on duty who helped when questions occurred A lady who looked overwhelmed with her duty We are long term African travelers - for 15 years - we saw over 200 different guesthouses/lodges in RSA, BOTS, NAM, ZIM - but your so called „LODGE“ got our Zero points. The whole site has seen better days - it looked torn down. Every Eco camp in the middle of the bush with no electricity and water is in better condition and offers more standards for travelers than this one !."

"Comfortable and very clean. The chef tailor-made a vegetarian dish that was excellent, since the menu otherwise didn't have many veg options. Staff were very professional and helpful. Recommended to anyone visiting Kuruman."
