Canal Suites

"Kanala is remote , we always rent a scooter or car but this was the first time they would not deliver a scooter to our accommodation despite the website saying they can arrange car/moto rental . As taxi /transfers are so expensive to get back to the port we had to manage without . The room is very small as is the pool area . There is literally one small rail for clothes with 4 hangers , no drawers or shelves . We had to keep our clothes in our bags Other than 2 small bottles of water on arrival no more water supplied despite being told not to use tap water . Please supply your guests with water to drink , clean teethetc it’s a basic of an hotel stay . The mini fridge cupboard would not close . On a positive the breakfasts where amazing and made up for some of the negatives . There are limited places to eat in Kanala and without the scooter made it even more difficult . Staff where very helpful and allowed us to use the facilities until we left for our ferry. There is a very large electrical post and cables in front of the hotel which really does spoil the view into the bay . We did have a pleasant but far from perfect stay"

"Excellent accommodation with high amenities and very kind staff. It is located in a quite privileged location, just 3 minutes by car from the island's port, which makes it ideal for walks without much movement. The rooms are spacious, new and very well-maintained with a view that compensates you. The breakfast consisted of many choices that satisfied even the most demanding. I highly recommend it for those who decide to visit Kythnos!"

"Amazing view from the reception and the hotel pool. In general, a very good spot near the beach of Episkopi, which you can also go on foot. However, the rooms cannot be considered suites, especially for this money. They are of excellent aesthetics, clean and new but not with the comforts of a suite at the 300 euros they ask for and somewhat dark. The fact that a room is split with a sofa does not necessarily make it a suite. I think they are rooms worth 150 max. I would go again but at a lower price."

Tramontana Suites

"Five-star accommodation for us. We're a family of two adults and two children. We loved every moment of our stay here: the house is well-appointed, there's a lovely little balcony overlooking the sea where we ate, and Aosa beach is very close and beautiful, although almost always deserted. It was cleaned and towels were changed daily. The house is 10-20 minutes from each beach, perhaps 25-30 minutes from the southernmost one, Agyos Dimitros. The shower and kitchen supplies could be improved (more cutlery, pans, a cutting board, for example), and the staff could use a better grasp of English, but you just have to make do and eventually you'll understand each other."

"Very very friendly and kind hosts who are willing to provide help for anything. Very convenient location close to the beach and the port. The room is basic that has everything that you need. It's an European style hostel so you would need your own toiletries like toothbrush, conditioner, etc as needed. They also have an amazing pool as well. There's a restaurant right next to the hotel which has AMAZING food. Definitely check it out while your stay here. 100% recommended!"
