"Nice hotel in a relatively good location. Very small parking lot (20€) with reservation required. Parking nearby is quite expensive. The downside is the extremely poor ventilation. On July 3rd, it was 23 degrees Celsius outside, but 29 degrees in the room, and impossible to get any cooler despite opening the windows (which didn't have mosquito nets?!). We slept with a cheap, noisy fan. Earplugs are essential. The system isn't designed for summer. In the heat of summer, it must be unbearable. The staff tell you there's a very serious problem (even for them) and that they've received many complaints… apparently, it's the same issue in winter; the rooms are too hot. Yet another example of excellent architects and engineers for this relatively new building. What a shame. We will certainly choose another option next time."

"I visited on a skiing trip with my two sons and echo the other positive reviews. To manage your expectations, consider the number of stars the accommodation has been awarded, and the relative price compared to other accommodation in the village and region. With all that in mind, I would consider my stay to have been excellent. The room was comfortable and functional. Considering we were the only English family on site, all staff made us feel very welcome and relaxed with their positive and friendly engagement. From a half board basis the buffet food was a good standard with sufficient variety to suit us all - the kids were 18 and 20 years old and didn’t complain at all. Dining room staff were helpful and friendly, with the head of service going out of his way to make us feel welcome. Reception staff were available and helpful and the bar area was enjoyable and comfortable, managed well by friendly staff. Gear storage for skiing was more than adequate and the location suited us, being a short bus ride to the Balme ski lifts and slightly longer to the village centre, in a quiet area. I would definitely consider a return trip and recommend to others."

"Found the hotel by chance on a search site, as we had already chosen La Clusaz for a few days break (adult couples) Delighted with the rooms, very comfortable and met the expectations for a 4 star hotel. Kitchenette as bonus! Easy access to lifts, and the village for bars and restaurants- though the hotel restaurant (Les 2 Mules) is also excellent food, great wine and good service. Only one tip to the management - maybe just offer your guests milk for the tea in their rooms? I had to have a quite word when the young man behind the bar was told to charge us 2.50 for a little jug, on top of the several thousand we were already spending…. Just saying. "

"lovely stay at the Alpen Roc with Shearings , our drivers ,Kelvin and Prem were excellent, room was really nice and comfortable, food was fantastic , as much as you wanted , wine and water on the table , drinks in bar were in an all inclusive package. Such a lovely holiday , thank you"

"This was our first visit to La Clusaz and to hotel Beauregard and we were very pleased with our stay.The hotel is full of quality fixtures and fittings, has an excellent restaurant and all the staff are so welcoming,friendly and efficient.Just one mention for the restaurant manager Julien who particularly made our stay very enjoyable as he was always charming,friendly and so efficient.The hotel are lucky to have him. The only criticism relates to the air conditioning which does not function properly. We certainly hope to return next year"

"Beautiful hotel/chalet, in full snow this would be amazing as you are on the slopes and a lift is within a short walk. It's in a pretty location. Lovely, clean rooms. We had room 5 which slept 3 people and was a bit of a squash with our luggage too but we managed, the balcony gave us extra space which was great, room 5 has a shower.. Room 4 was bigger with a larger bathroom and seperate toilet. We were able to use the jacuzzi and sauna but as previous comments, the pool was out of use. On arrival we were told our room wasn't ready until 4pm, we arrived at 2pm and after an hour we were allowed to our room. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and chat to one of our hosts, who was helpful about where we could snowboard and ski. The downside to this chalet is the bus service which finishes running from the village to the chalet by 6pm, taxis are difficult to get, we ended up hitching a lift, which seems the norm here and driving. The chalet serves breakfast and evening meals at an extra cost, we didn't eat in as some of our party are picky eaters."
