"Having stayed in and loved this hotel thirty-five years ago, I was looking forward to going back. I paid for a 20 sq metre standard double room because I felt that the 15 sq metre budget room would be too small. The room we got measured almost exactly 9 sq metres. When I asked about it at reception, I was told that they were busy and that the bed was big. It only looked big in such a tiny room! It was also very expensive and I was asked to pay before seeing the room, which is very un-Spanish. We paid for two nights, but checked out after just one uncomfortable one and went home. Suggest avoid..."

The hotel is in a great location not far from the main square. The staff are extremely helpful especially Francisco he helped and advised us with everything when ever we needed anything. Great hotel, great village, great food."

"The most chilled experience we've ever had in a hotel. Not cheap but it's a wonderful oasis away from the craziness of August in Spain. Beautifully decorated, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, restaurants are quality, rooms are amazing and there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone at the pool. Well thought through with a clear emphasis on creating the most pleasant user experience possible and brilliantly executed. And of course, so close to the fantastic beach and lively town centre. Can't wait to go back."

"Close to beach. Had a room with balcony with table and chairs and partial sea view. Room was standard, nothing extra, clean with empty refrigerator. Free parking in the area but may be a challenge during peak weekends. Fair pricing. Did not try breakfast."

"Cozy and family camping. Very nice bungalows with everything you need. We have been during Easter, the only drawback we have is that they do not have many things for children, such as a playground, a soccer field... and due to the bad weather we had to stay inside the bungalows because they do not have covered areas to spend the day. for a while since the temperature was not very low but the rain was what was annoying. The staff very attentive and charming."

"Very enjoyable holiday. We had a comfortable sea view room with balcony and jacuzzi. Carolina serviced our room daily to keep it immaculate. Smooth and interesting transfer from Jerez airport. Ideal location for beach and attractive unspoiled town both within easy walking distance of hotel. A morning stroll to the town with flowers and trees plus many services. A shoreline walk or a quick body boarding was so exhilarating depending on sea conditions. Swimming pool is clean and supervised by lifeguards. Very clean everywhere and beautiful well maintained gardens. All staff friendly and helpful. Thank you to Inma and Nicole on reception to Evelyn, Wannan and others in restaurant. Very good food and service. We would recommend this hotel and attractive surroundings."

"This was an amazing venue for a group womens' golf/pilates trip in March. The hotel and rooms were spotless, the location stunning, the food lovely and most of all the staff were just fabulous. The front desk staff and housekeepers were so nice, but a real shoutout goes to Nacho in the pro shop who went out in a buggy to look for a pair of expensive sunglasses I had dropped during my round. He found them and returned them - it was a real bonus. The 19th hole snack bar was great and really good value. I would not hesitate to return!"

"Delicious food. Everything delicious! Tomato salad, tuna salad, meat tacos, coconut milk soup, mussels. Great chef and very nice service. I recommend. You absolutely must visit when in Los Canos de Meca. Holiday atmosphere, playground for children, pet-friendly restaurant. In summer they serve a breakfast buffet."
