"What a lovely little gem. Stayed last night Saturday and wish we were staying another night. We had room 4 which is at the back so nice and quiet. Can’t complain about anything really. Hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee and milk, complimentary toiletries all included. Would highly recommend this for your stay in Lancaster, it is in the middle of the city so not far to walk to places. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that but I’m sure it would be good. Would definitely come back here. A big shout out to Tom who was always in contact with my husband Mark. Thanking you kindly."

"Solid place but you see that it's more of a short-/medium-term investment opportunity for whoever runs te place. Rooms are relatively clean, sheets were fresh and staff really nice. But overall the hotel seems to slowly disintegrate. OK, but if you're paying more than £50 you're paying too much."

"The location is in the center of Lancaster. There is a supermarket nearby. Shopping is convenient and the service is friendly. Milk, cereal, fruit, etc. are placed at the door. You can pick them up as needed in the morning and evening. The room and bathroom are spacious, comfortable and hygienic. There is a bar on the first floor. But it's not noisy. Parking spaces nearby are tight. I'm satisfied with my stay. It's recommended."

"A true local pub that welcomes us foreign folk (lancashire) A good selection of beers , but for us on our second visit in 3 days ,it's the homemade food . Don't expect fine dinning or fancy waiters. What you do get is good service with a smile and good food at a great price . It's just like mother used to make ! I did ask to be adopted but apparently the lovely lady has a list ! It's our go to pub when we revisit the area ."
