"We are not happy with this hotel. Firstly, the hotel room has no air-conditioner, and unfortunately there is a heat wave. We are impossible to sleep. And there is no hair dryer in the room. You have to go down the reception to borrow it, and... they ran out of hair dryer. Of course you could open the window but there are flies coming in... even bees. What an experience."

"Very underwhelmed with our room for the price . Ridiculously hot with an inadequate fan and a window that wouldn't open and small, worst mattress I've had in a long time . The bathroom window was open and a constant smell of the nearby restaurant. I realise we booked one of the cheapest rooms but it was still over £100 room only. There was 2 lindt chocolates but both had melted ! Woken at 8 am by the builders behind shouting it felt like they were in the room ! We have stayed in most of the hotels in Lancaster as we are regular visitors & this was the most disappointing so far"

"The rooms are rather cramped, but clean to a reasonable degree. The bathroom is relatively new. However, due to the room being right next to the kitchen exhaust pipe, there is considerable noise from the exhaust before the restaurant closes at night and after breakfast preparation begins in the morning, leaving a noticeable smell of cooking fumes in the room. Parking is available in the free parking lot across the street, which is convenient."
