"I can't speak highly enough of the friendly staff here. Great location as it's an easy walk to the city center. Close to a great bakery Gschaider GmbH Bäckerei-Feinbäckerei. Room was very clean and the air conditioning was very welcomed. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection. Would definitely stay here again."

"Charming hotel with impeccable decor. The rooms were very inviting and the staff adorable and made the trip a delight. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like family and this cozy hotel and divine food is a must stay experience with a rich history and just a short walk to the town which is a lovely place to enjoy a weekend or vacation. The hotel is in a very old building and had the authentic feel and has the authentic charm of this era. It was very quiet and comfortable and not to detract from the great review I want to mention that old buildings from this era have no lifts and are not handicap accessible which is normal for most of Europe."

Service & Atmosphere: The staff members are absolutely sweet and attentive. They welcomed me with genuine warmth, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Location: The location is absolute perfection. It is completely central, making it incredibly easy and safe to explore the gorgeous town of Landshut on foot.Rooms, Cleanliness & Noise Level: My room was modern, beautiful, and maintained with immaculate cleanliness. Even though it is centrally located, the noise level was wonderfully low—it was a peaceful, quiet, and relaxing sanctuary. Amenities & Value: The hotel offers fantastic value for your money. I especially loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and water station in the lobby, which was such a thoughtful and generous amenity.Everything about this stay was flawless. I felt safe, cared for, and thoroughly pampered. I will definitely choose Hotel Freischütz for my next trip to Bavaria!"

"Not a good experience, I asked for a kettle and an iron but the hotel had neither. Not even a pen & notepad in the room. The hotel bar closed at 09.30pm. The hotel had no decaffeinated coffee or Green Tea. The toilets smell badly and the toilet in my room didn't flush. Soap dispensers in my bathroom were empty. The staff worked hard but there's so few of them. If i wasn't staying on business and paying myself I would have checked out after a few hours and found somewhere better."

"The Good: Friendly staff Close to local restaurants and bars Rooms of a decent size The Bad: No air-conditioning Although double-glazed, the hotel fronts on to a noisy cobbled road which, on a hot evening, creates a trade off between uncomfortable heat or open windows and a noisy night. Reception is not manned after 1830, which for a four-star hotel, is unacceptable. Bar and restaurants not open on a Sunday or Monday evening. The average: Breakfast could be more varied and substantial"

"We booked two standard double rooms for single use including one dog, since the hotel was declared animal friendly. On site we learned that dogs / pets are probably no longer allowed; yet we stayed with our dog over a prolonged weekend. The standard rooms are quite small. It was OK to use a double room, but it was quite blind and dark here too. This depends on the historic buildings of the hotel and the monumental protection, which prohibits construction measures. The facility was also in quite dark wood and is expected to be renewed. It is noticeable that there is no chair to some rooms and you can lift quite steep stairs. In the room there was a TV. The breakfast was good and consisted of bread and bread, sauce, cheese, a yoghurt muslimix and orange juice. Coffee in various variants was available in unlimited quantity. The staff is friendly."
