Fairways Hotel on the Mountain ★★★

"The room was spacious and the staff was helpful. The only thing that I did not like is that the transition between the tile and the carpet in the room is not done well. A "T" cap trim should be installed instead of a Schluter "L" edge because the carpet sinks below the trim causing trip hazard or even may cut your leg as the trim can be rather sharp especially when its also bended."

The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa, Victoria ★★★★★

"I felt it was odd that they didn't provide free parking with their rooms at such a remote location. There is a pool next door available for about $45 however it closes at 7pm on Friday and Saturday. It appears on the website it is included but there is a link showing the costs. There is no shopping yet in the location. The pro shop did not have any medium or large ladies shirts available and I couldn't see any golf balls with Bear Mountain Logo. The room and view were amazing. Staff was wonderful. They played soft music in the restaurant in the evening. We enjoyed the hot tub outside in the garden. Go there to golf; bike or quiet time."
