B&B Hotel Chartres le Coudray ★★

"Stayed in a family room with a double bed plus bunk beds for two nights on the way down south. Iris out in an industrial so a car is required to get back to the main town of Chartres although a bus service exists. The room was fine as a base, small but clean. Didn’t like the well used shower curtain and more hooks would be nice in the bathroom. We didn’t eat there but breakfasted at the local boulangerie. There is an Aldi right opposite the hotel and parking was plentiful. Getting into Paris by train was a bit of hassle as there was a train once an hour then nothing for two. Chartres was lovely, ate there both nights."

"We're going down to this hotel almost every month after having made several in the surroundings: it's the best for us! small bathroom with glass wall (not the ridges that stick to you!!) and well-provided breakfast (broken eggs and bacon, vinegar, yagurts, 2 available fruit juice etc ..."

"Really enjoyed our few days here. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with extremely comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. It was lovely to have a delicious breakfast in the garden in the shade every morning. Marie Christine and Michel are delightful hosts who did everything to make our stay so enjoyable and they have many tips and suggestions for places to visit."
