"I chose to stay here because it wasn’t too costly and was convenient for walking to/from both the Brittany Ferries terminal and the main train station. It meets both those criteria but otherwise has little to recommend it. Very tired, lots of noise from the street outside, fixtures and fittings in poor shape. More positively, room (and bathroom) weren’t too cramped and the one staff member I met was very pleasant. OK for an economical one night stopover in transit but otherwise I reckon there must be better nearby alternatives and wonder whether/now the Accor chain sets and monitors standards for its properties. Ibis Styles seem, in my experience to be of very variable quality."

"The hotel is very original: a dozen small houses located in a garden in the heart of Havre, just a few meters from the street of Paris, the cathedral and the Museum of Natural History. A very careful decor and very great comfort with numerous facilities. Air conditioning. Beautiful terraces, with access to a sauna and a Nordic shower. Breakfast is deposited in the morning. 2 restaurants and a pub complete the whole."

"I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I found bedbugs in my room, which is unacceptable. I had to cut my stay short to avoid bringing them home with me. The problem was reported to reception, but their response was inadequate. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment until serious hygiene and disinfection measures are implemented."
