"On a return visit we were warmly welcomed by our hosts Lori and Gavin with a cool drink by the pool after a long hot drive. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of Lori's 'little touches'. Our room overlooking the garden was spacious, spotlessly clean, with a super comfy bed and great en suite. Breakfasts were plentiful with yummy homemade jams and marmalade. Lori and Gavin went above and beyond to make our seven night stay comfortable, making restaurant reservations and suggesting places of interest to visit. We can highly recommend 5Grande Rue - You will not be disappointed."

"Spent 4 nights here in total and the hotel is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable , especially those with a river view. Friendly staff, great food and the spa facilities are lovely. Can highly recommend this hotel. Great location for Le Mans."

"Great in every respect - food (evening meal and breakfast), room and bedding, location. Warm welcome from Gavin and Lori. The house is wonderfully furnished with traditional French style. We were there in March before the garden had come out of hibernation."

"Very average reception, with the news that there is no meal in the evening because the cook does not come and left with the keys to the kitchen. 20 euros per person as compensation for what to eat at fast football instead of a planned meal, starter, main course and dessert. The boss even tells us that customers who come via a box cause him to lose money, but while talking among ourselves, we realize that almost all of us that weekend were customers who came via boxes. . Inappropriate words from the boss, major lack of professionalism, no commercial sense to satisfy and above all does not know how to manage the hazards by leaving his "small staff" to fend for themselves when the customers start to "yell"."
