"In case of problems, help was quick and the breakfast was plentiful. At dinner, the lady told us that the table for 5 people was not for 2. But the day before, only 2 people had sat there. Today, only 1 person sat at the table for 5. We then went out to eat. Even as hotel guests, we weren't allowed to sit there. That's completely unacceptable."

"Was our first visit To the Schwarz Wald and decided for a hotel with outside pool, was going to be excellent weather. Arrived at the hotel where we immediately received a welcome drink and a small guided tour. Young staff but well trained and very friendly. Room was nice, ground floor, garden view with outside terrace including seats. Some further highlights: Amazing breakfast with large variety of fresh fruits, cheese, eggs all you can eat, heated outside pool must cost a fortune to heath, dinner was brilliant, compliments to the cook and team, older Turkish waiter is also very friendly. Well all staff is friendly, surely the lady in charge in restaurant but also the lady on the reception, thanks for coffee at 7.30 in the morning. Evening menu always nicely balanced. Lowlights, noting I can think off. Extremely nice place."

"Clean and tidy with a large pool! Unfortunately, we were assigned a restaurant seat in the dining room for several days, away from the viewing windows. When we asked to be allowed to take a different seat by the window - there were enough options - our request was denied or no effort was made, even though the dining room was never full. Taking care of a guest's wishes looks different."
