"Absolutely fantastic hotel, currently staying solo in a suite with my own pool, very relaxing resort and really lovely staff, many Greek guests and I’ve heard a few English and German guests on my strolls, everyone is very friendly. Breakfast is really good and caters for everyone, I had a lovely fruit platter, wine and bottled water in my room and hen I arrived, I ate in the restaurant a couple of times and food was great and inexpensive but also only a 10 minute stroll into town where there’s loads of restaurants and bars to chill and drink and watch the world go by also very inexpensive, absolutely lovely place and I’ll definitely be returning"

"The hotel We went to this small village with our two daughters. The gardens are beautifully kept, very green, with flowers and palm trees. The houses have nice facades and overall well kept. We loved that although you need to share the pool with the guests next door, it was not really busy, sometimes it felt like you had a private pool. They give the pool good maintenance, I saw that they would also check the quality of the water. The house is indeed a bit outdated, but this adds charm to the place. They clean the house daily (except Sundays) and you can ask for clean towels. The staff was always polite and friendly. There is no supermarket in the premises, but the town is a mere 5 minutes by car where you can get all you need. There is a small kitchen well equipped, although the prices of the food are really affordable everywhere. There is also a small beach, close by, walking distance. I read that someone mentioned, murky water, but that is not true. The beach is clean and the water is not dirty, it just has water plants. You can easily go there for a swim. The restaurant The restaurant's food was delicious, I have to say that during our stay in the island the best meals (dinner) were at the hotel. I would recommend the sea bass and the Tigania. The waiter, Nicolas was really very friendly and his recommendations were always right. Breakfast was ok, eggs (hard boiled, fried and scrambled), sausages, ham, feta cheese, yoghurt with jams and cereal. They also had different kinds of bread and home made quiches (which were actually very tasty). The fruit, melon and watermelon. There is also a coffee machine, apple juice and some kind of lemonade, no fresh juices. There was enough choice for everyone. I only missed, (maybe in the weekend) something different for the kids, like fresh pancakes. The Greek night was a lot of fun, the ambiance, music and the show were great. Even the staff was dancing. I would definitely recommend it. The side of the pool is nicely decorated, make sure to reserve a spot on time. The location You do need a car to visit the rest of the island, there is no hotel entertainment, but we already knew that and we really didn't mind, some days we stayed by the pool in the hotel, other days we went exploring the near by towns with our rental car. Lovely island, everyone is friendly, the lounge chairs and umbrellas at the different beaches are always free of charge, you just need to order a drink by the restaurants. And the food is also really good. Cons, The beds are hard, it is already mentioned by other reviews. My husband had more trouble than me on this. The pillows were lumpy, if you are fuzzy about pillows, bring your own. Trash cans were almost broken and the washing machine had mold. My daughters forgot her cuddly toy, it was unfortunately not found... Despite this we really like the place and if we ever decide to go back to Lesbos we will definitely go back to this hotel. "

"Skalla Kalloni is a gem of a resort. Perfect for couples. It has to be one of the most authentic places on the island. If you love nature and short walks to the beach, great local restaurants and tavernas, it is perfect. It’s a small cosy little village with a gorgeous little town square. The Aegeon is a lovely hotel at the end of village and provides a gorgeous beach walk into the town. The staff at the accommodation are second to none. It is the hotel we have returned to for the last three years because of this. The amount of returning guests says it all about how special this hotel is. The Aegeon has a rhythm all of its own and on Greek Nights it comes alive! The days are relaxing by the pool or a gentle stroll to the beach. Bar service is excellent and bar food is delicious - recommend the Greek Pizza! Staff are so friendly, welcoming and ensure we feel at home for the week. The rooms are always well tended by the cleaning staff with plenty of fresh towels and bedding changed regularly. A/C in the rooms for those hot nights and balcony space for relaxing. It is the perfect hotel for looking out over the wetland - you never know what beautiful birds you will spot so taking binoculars is a must! Will definitely be returning for our fourth visit!"

"Arrived home from Sunrise on 31st July and there are positives and negatives. First the positives. The food around the pool at lunch was amazing as were the staff there Vadia, Kleo, Diana, Panos and Stefanos the chef. They worked so hard and were so friendly they made the holiday. The negatives. The room's were dated and many are alleviated needing to walk up loads of steps to access them so if you have mobility issues ask foe a room on the lower level, but the views are breathtaking higher up. The food at night was OK but not brilliant and nothing was labeled so you didn't know what you were eating. My husband likes his cooked breakfast on holiday and this Breakfast was basic, scrambled eggs (with flies on them) hotdog sausages, cooked ham no beans. I noticed a sign tucked away after being there 3 days saying you could ssk for fried eggs or omelette to be cooked on request so i did ask and was told this couldn't be done until after 8am but breakfast opened at 7.30am. Also available was continental and of course Greek yoghurt (which was lovely). Also be aware that you have to pay a 10€ a night government tax on leaving the hotel. Also the tansfer from and to the airport is 2 and a quarter hours so be aware of this. There is no entertainment at night except once a week a Greek musician in the outside bar but another positive is the Barman (sorry did get his name) and Stallias the waiter was lovely and very informative about the Islands. Finally the island itself is very beautiful and unspoilt and we will return but not to this area or hotel."

"1 star is for the view! We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 4. On arrival late at night we were told they were fully booked and gave us - 1 very tired damp grubby bedroom to sleep in. ( see photos snail on door) due to damp. Accommodation with a kitchen is our preferred choice of travel. In the morning a very simple breakfast was offered to us whilst the manager claimed that RCI had over booked and there were no 1 bedroom apartments in the hotel that they were studios and he would try to find us one. He did! We have stayed in many RCI ‘ tired’ properties but this one should be condemned. The radiators in all rooms have been removed and pipes cut off about 30cm above the floor. The space in à ‘studio’ does not give enough room to walk past the bed if someone is cooking/washing up. The cooker had to be repaired when we were put into the studio as it did not work. It was so cold ( first week of October) that everyone asked for extra blankets and they ran out. It is evident ( see photos) that what they have done is close off the separate bedroom, install à ‘kitchen’ and fence off half of the patio/balcony so that the space can be let to 2 separate couples! The only problem with this is that our son was joining us and the ‘studio’ did not have enough room to put a sofa. We had booked for sleeping 4 people). Having lived in Africa and experienced basic - this is the only shower I have got into and felt dirty when I came out. The only good thing was the hot water. I could continue but I believe the photos say it all. We contacted RCI and explained, they reported it to the Area manager. Needless to say we checked out and booked accommodation on the other side of the island and I washed my hair for the first time in 4 days. Put simply this property from the photos looks great but reality is quite shocking. Don’t book it - you will have wasted a valuable weeks holiday and a lot of money."

As we had to leave early we got some breakfast to take with us I really can recommend a stay here, you won't be disappointed."

"Really lovely hotel and nice quiet location. Staff are all very friendly and speak English as well (of course!) as Greek. The luxury rooms are worth it if only for the balconies; the pool is a dream. All for a very reasonable price. To get into the town centre is too long to walk, but close to the airport (but flights over the hotel are rare). A taxi will cost around 5-6€ (at May 22) but worth it. There is a beach between the hotel and the airport and that is a wonderful place to spend a day. I’ll be back here"

"It has taken me some time to review this Holiday 10 nights in Levkos( lesbos) at the Pasiphae Hotel. Where do I Start? First impressions were quite good. So lets start our first night was good room was spotless and to be fair the Maids kept it that way spot on with the Towels cleaned regularly and the Beds made every day which is why we left a Healthy tip for them on Leaving. Tried paying the Pool bar Tab after a few days with my prepaid travel card was told by the owner manager had to be Cash as he was having problems with his Bank!!! Pool Side sunbed Mattresses were heavily Stained and old /Collapsed ( and it was the Start of the Season). You had to cover them with Towels. I get Sun tan Lotion gets on them but it was clear they were beyonf their sell by date. A Barbeque was advertised with Greek Dancers and a Band from the Mainland. The Dancers and the Band did not materialise and the food cooked by "Bill" the owner was meat not cooked thoroughly and was Pink. Many Guests left it piled on their plates. And to cap it we had a large Party of Retired Greek Police and their wives /Husbands staying for three days They were like a Plague of Locusts at Breakfast and the Barbeque night. At the Barbeque these guests had large Round tables with fancy white table cloths and cutlery . Several of the Jet 2 guests including me sat down and were told to move as it was reserved for the Police guests we had to sit at the back no tablecloths .Incidentally these guests got up to dance to the Greek DJs Music , the owner later told a Jet 2 Guest that the Police were thecBand but they had forgotten their instruments. UNBELIEVABLE! FED ALL THIS BACK TO JET 2 REP AND CUSTOMER SERVICES. We are not going back to Levkos."

"We reserved a studio at this hotel for one night, specifically for a private terrace balcony. Unexpectedly, we were upgraded to an apartment with a shared balcony for four other studios. After expressing our concerns to the reception, the manager explained that the studio pictures were misleading due to collaboration issues with a certain company. Seeking a private terrace, we were upgraded again to the master apartment, which boasted three private balconies. It turned out to be a fantastic apartment with an ideal location, stunning views, and perfect amenities. Highly recommended, especially for families of four. The stay was delightful, and the breakfast, featuring various sweets and numerous egg and cheese options, was excellent. We'd gladly return, with the suggestion for the hotel to clarify that the studio terrace isn't entirely private."
