"Charming boutique hotel. It was a pleasure to walk around and see the attention to detail. The premises are dotted around with local artifacts. The spa services were excellent. The food and service was also good. We had a slight issue with the water temperature in the room but that was resolved promptly. All in all a very comfortable stay."

"there were no waiters by the poolside although there were around 50 people there. the food took 1 hour to arrive and order was wrong and 1 dish missing which took another 45 minutes to arrive. Had to go look for waiters to get a drink. Food is average but expensive for what it is. Pool was green, (algae) to top it all i was blocked in the car park by inconsiderate drivers so took another 35 minutes to get out. Never to go again waster of money"

"This hotel is very run down. The rooms are shabby, the bathrooms are not very clean. Water comes out of the taps brown. The restaurant is halal so if you want a drink you have to go to the sports bar next door. The swimming g pool is empty with broken furniture around it. The whole experience was not pleasant I’m afraid."

"Great value for money. The staff were friendly and down to eart. The meals were. One small suggestion: changing bed sheets every day for the same guest isn’t very environmentally friendly. For stays longer than one night, there’s really no need to change the bedding daily unless the customer asks for it. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would be happy to return."

"Beautifully landscaped grounds right in the middle of the action of downtown Lilongwe. The room was small but very well decorated and had view of the gardens. Plus fridge, kettle and good wifi (for Malawi!). I walked 1/2 km to a mall and grocery store to stock up on provisions for my trip to Lake Malawi. The staff was helpful and there was a nice swimming pool. My only complaint is why is the restaurant buried in a dark back room when the hotel is littered with beautiful gardens to look at? The food and restaurant staff were great though."

Guess they are trying to create a romantic atmosphere by dark and candle light are different things. Won’t come back again. By the way we had Indian food for dinner so cannot comment on their other cuisine."
