Jollyboys Backpackers and Camp ★★★
"I enjoyed my stay, clean place and Samuel Juma was so helpful. Will come back"
The Victoria Falls Waterfront ★★★
"WiFi, breakfast, small room. By the Zambezi River, the restaurant has a good view and is cheap. There is an activity center where you can book various activities, and the bar broadcasts live football matches."
New Fairmount Hotel and Casino ★★★
"The hotel provides considerate service from check-in to check-out, and the front desk is warm and professional, which makes you feel like you are in the spring breeze. The guest rooms are stylishly designed, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the city night view. The bedding is selected from top brands, and you can fall into a cloud-like sleeping experience. The gym is equipped with Technogym equipment, and the water quality of the heated swimming pool is comparable to that of a private club. Chinese and Western breakfasts are cooked to order, and the Benedict eggs are a must. The cleaning lady even arranges the cosmetics in an artistic shape, which satisfies detail lovers!"
Fawlty Towers Guest House ★★★
"I highly recommend my hotel in Livingstone. The environment here is very good, the staff is very enthusiastic, you can communicate with the front desk about the itinerary and ask the front desk to help book a car to Kazungula Pass and enter Botswana. The breakfast here is very clean, there is a pizza oven in the kitchen, where you can eat freshly made pizza, and you can watch the European Cup. There is also a bar in the hotel where you can come here to relax and meet other people at night. Highly recommended, affordable, beautiful environment, and friendly staff. I highly recommend the hotel I stayed at in Livingstone. The environment is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can easily communicate with the front desk to help arrange your itinerary, including booking a ride to the Kazungula border for entry into Botswana. for relaxing in the evening and meeting new people. I truly enjoyed my stay here. Great value for money, lovely surroundings, and genuinely kind staff. Highly recommended!"
Protea Hotel Livingstone ★★★
"This is a fine hotel, but not quite up to Marriott standards. Although we had non-smoking rooms in two different parts of the hotel, we could smell smoke several times throughout our stay in our rooms. We ate at the restaurant, and some of the food was great, and some was OK. We did not get sick on the food. This hotel was conveniently located for doing the Devil's pool."
Victoria Falls Backpackers Zambia ★★
"Restful evening. We truly appreciate and enjoyed it!!!!"
Okavango Lodge ★★★
"Really cozy place. Very friendly staff and we got help for all we wanted. An amazing nice and silent garden. One day we had to leave early and then we got a breakfast-box to bring. The room was a bit crowded, and the first day we had some problems with the hot water."
Café Zambezi House of Africa - Hostel ★★
"It was really nice. The staff were welcoming and friendly. And the place is clean. The only problem I had was when there was no electricity but other than that, really nice."
Kamunjila Lodge ★★★
"The welcome is warm and, being in French thanks to the manager François, helps you feel at home. The place is very well maintained and the atmosphere is serene. The staff is attentive. The lodges are rather simple but well appointed, clean and comfortable enough to make you feel at home. The food is very very good and the menu changes daily. It is a luxury to be able to count on the permanent presence of François who was able to put together a program adapted to our stay. It was a real pleasure to be able to end our trip to Namibia with this last stop in Zambia."

"Was told that the room wasn’t paid for and needed to pay AGAIN! Spoke to Trip.com chat for around 30 to an hour and they didn’t solve the issue. I left and found another hotel. Lost money here and not happy with the support from Trip.com on this booking. CAREFUL BOOKING THIS HOTEL AS THE HOTEL WILL ASK YOU TO PAY AND DENY ANY INVOLEMENT WITH TRIP.COM"
Royal Olympia Lodges and Safaris Livingstone
Tongabezi Lodge
"We stayed 4 nights at Tongabezi. I have traveled a lot and been to many luxury lodges, but I have rarely experienced this level of hospitality. When we arrived, we were appointed one valet and one guide. They stayed with us the whole time and were truly amazing. A special thanks to Patience for taking such good care of us and making sure every detail during our stay was perfect, and thank you to Abi for his everlasting knowledge and kindness that truly made each activity with him unforgettable. We stayed in the cottages, and they were amazing. The beds were super comfortable and had heated mattresses to make sure we weren't cold at night. The bathroom was incredible, and one night after dinner we even had a hot bubble bath waiting for us! The view was breathtaking. There were always hippos in front of our terrace, and we enjoyed incredible sunsets every evening from there. The food was delicious. Thanks to the chef and his whole team for giving us fresh food and bread every day! Almost every vegetable and fruit came from the lodge’s organic garden. Everything was homemade, from breakfast to dinner, and you could really tell. For every meal we had a different table, offering us a new view. We even had lunch in the organic garden, where we picked the vegetables for lunch and cooked with the chef. I really loved this lunch — it was a very nice surprise! The hotel has two pools (though we never used them). It also has a very nice and complete gym with excellent machines. The bar is also really nice, with incredible bartenders who can make a wide variety of delicious cocktails. To conclude: a truly exceptional lodge with incredible people working there. Thank you again to the whole Tongabezi team for this unforgettable stay. If you come to Livingstone, this is the place to be!"
Chrismar Hotel Livingstone
"Everything fine"
LePatino Bed & Breakfast
"Nice place."
Avani Victoria Falls Resort
"The staff is very nice"
Maramba River Lodge
"Right in the middle of the Mosi-ay-Tunya game-reserve, be prepared for traffic delays due to elephants on the road.... For the same reason you can't walk up to town.... the Lodges are in a gated area, but as the river is on 1 side, elephants and hippos can make an appearance - in the river and right up next to your lodge or tent............ Lodges have flushing toilet shower and air-conditioning.... the overfed mosquito nets more or less kept them out overnight... Breakfast included for all stays and was cooked to order, instant coffee (filter available at the bar for additional charge) great menu if you fancy a day by the pool/river watching the elephants and baboons just across the Maramba river. And the occasional croc... Very close to the Victoria falls - so you will likely be the last pick up and first drop off on day trips .... lovely staff"
