"A perfectly located and clean hotel. Although a platinum customer there was absolutely nothing in the room. No additional products in the bathroom. No software, no attention as required by the Accor group process. The icing on the cake for guests who enter the room with the same room assignment as you! 2 minutes later you have hotel staff knocking and walking in without having time to respond. Unacceptable, intolerable an intrusion into our privacy. Repeated apologies (free breakfast) will not take away this very sad adventure where each reader will be able to identify. This is a blatant lack of rigor in the management of teams and everyone’s place. Professionalism is within everyone's reach from the moment we are able to seriously accomplish a mission. In this case this was not the case and the group's headquarters will also be more official about this mishap."

"Excellent place to stay; everything was within walking distance. Hotel is next to the main railway station which was perfect. Having said that no noise from trains. The Hotel staff were great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect with different levels; basic, medium and full service; meant you only paid for what you wanted. The rooms were clean and well appointed, very comfortable. We were in Lorient for the Interceltic Festival. The Hotel was with walking distance to all the events, yet far enough away to avoid the crowds."

"This is definitely one of the better Mecure Hôtels I have stayed in and well worthy of its 4 stars. We received a warm greeting with all information available in French and English. The room was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished with many extras in the bathroom along with robes and slippers, à free mini bar and nespresso machine. It was a deluxe room. Breakfast was incluent in the rate and it was excellent in terms of variety and quality. A member of staff regularly replaced food items as they were depleted. The hotel is close to the city centre in a quiet pleasant location. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk. Check out was fast and friendly. This is a hotel I would willingly return to and stay more than the one night. Well done to all the team. "

"We stayed three nights. The hotel is located in the central part of Lorient yet in a quiet street. It is within walking distance of public transport, shops and restaurants, and also the hotel has its own secured parking available at EUR 10/day. Also fresh and clean drinking water was available at the lobby. The hotel is not large and the front desk is not open all day. We received good information by mail with a code to get into the hotel and it worked out fine. The hotel has no a/c in the rooms and no elevator, which may be a problem if you have much baggage. Our room was spacious and clean and with a good bed and coffee machine. The TV set was good, but only French channels were available, and we missed a news channel in English. The friendly staff at the front desk also took care of breakfast, which was ok without being great. The coffee was very good, but even though we are not late risers some basic items were not available and apparently not being restocked. One morning we had to share the remaining croissant, which I do not find ok. Also we noted that housekeeping was rather uneven."

He obviously takes great pride in his hotel even though the staff were all on holiday. The self - service continental breakfast had all one could ask for. It is in the center of town too. Overall a most satisfactory experience at no. 28. An ideal hotel if visiting Carnac stones."
