"The service is generally not matched by the positioning of the entire hotel. Secondly, the wireless network is very slow. I have repeatedly asked if I can use the wireless network with a password and it is rejected, resulting in difficulties in work. The do not disturb sign on the door is still cleaned by someone."

"Having never visited the South of France including Provence, there were high expectations heading into our trip 3 weeks ago. I knew we were going to love it but I didn't realize how much we would fall in love with Lourmarin and especially Le Galinier. From the moment we checked in, we knew we had found the perfect place for us. The property is absolutely gorgeous with trees, gardens, tons of outdoor space and a fabulous pool and cabana area. We stayed in the two story La Grange which was absolutely huge, beautiful and made us feel right at home. We didn't need to worry about anything as our kitchen came with wine glasses, bottle openers and everything we would need to make dinner after a fantastic first day we spent mostly at the Lourmarin market day which happens each Friday. We picked up wine, fresh bread, fresh cheeses and a rotisserie chicken I'm still dreaming about all of which gave us one of the most special dinners of our lives. Everything about Le Galinier provides you with a place of peace, of relaxation, of time slowing down. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious with fresh coffee, pastries, fruits, eggs. Honestly though, the best part of Le Galinier are the wonderful people who work hard and take care of everything. House Manager, Marie-Lise, was the absolute best host, making us feel right at home, giving us recommendations on where to eat, which villages to visit or even which local Rosè and Chablis wines to try during our visit. She was wonderful! And receptionist, Geraldine, made check in/check out and everything else we needed or had questions about so easy. Both Marie-Lise & Geraldine are warm, lovely people who made our stay even better. If fact, the entire Le Galinier team are awesome. Thank you all for the perfect introduction to Provence and especially to Lourmarin. We can't wait to come back and see you all again - and stay at Le Galiner, of course ;) P.S. Our weekend yoga class with Christine was beyond special. What a treat!"

Hotel Bastide & Spa - Villa de Lourmarin

"We stayed one night on our way to Avignon. We arrived early and were given access to our room, a nice touch. The room was comfortable and they have an outside area near the swimming pool where you can relax. As we had to leave early, we were not able to experience breakfast. It’s located quite close to the old town, a plus."

Mas la Cheneraie

"Located just a short walk from the heart of the charming village of Lourmarin, Mas La Cheneraie is a tranquil slice of Provence. Upon arrival we were buzzed through the gate and into the secure parking area. Very shortly we were warmly welcomed, shown to our room and offered a much appreciated light refreshment. The setting is relaxing and our room was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The room had a small kitchenette and dining area which we used to prepare a light meal. In the morning we simply called Aurélie and Sébastien to let them know we were ready for breakfast. A few minutes later there was a knock on our door and a delicious breakfast tray was delivered to us. We could choose between eating at our dining table or outside on our private patio area. We did a little of each and enjoyed them both. Our hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location made it both easy to walk to the village for the morning market or to go to dinner without having to drive and park, and, to hit the road to explore the surrounding countryside. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to return someday. Weather and time permitting, we may even take advantage of the inviting looking swimming pool! "

Ancienne Maison des Gardes

"We have spent 10 days in the Ancienne Maison des Gardes and to make it short: it was just lovely! First of all Rose & Robin are fantastic hosts who do their best to make their clients' stay as perfect as possible. The appartment was furnished tastefully with a lot of love for the details, everything fitted so well in this old and charming house, plus we had a stunning view on the chateau. Robin never got tired to give us good and helpful advices where to go, what to see, which restaurant to visit. Perfectly located just in front of the village, with walking ways starting from the house and having the vignobles around - we will always keep our stay in best memory. Thanks a lot, Rose and Robin !"
