"The hotel is in a good location and there is free parking in front of the hotel. The bathroom is separated from dry and wet areas, and breakfast is not included in the accommodation. Laoma Shaobing Restaurant opposite Shadian has a great breakfast of shaobing and tofu. This is the second time I have stayed at a luxury hotel. The health and facilities are not ideal and should be improved. However, there is no better hotel in the center of Luanping County."

"Not sure of this was a hotelroom of a house. Looks like a house, but there was no complete inventory. No cups for example. The staff at The Front desk was very friendly, but not assertive or knowing. The restaurant had a very young staff, with no overview. They forgot one dish and when we asked they said the kitchen was already closed. Drinks were not served. When asked they did not understand it. Ik was quite confusing. I do not blame them, they were so young and they were trying, but the management was sitting at the table next to us while it happend and they did not help these young kids. We enjoyed the location and had a fantastic visit to the wall but overall the experience was quite underwhelming."

"Best experience we’ve had in China. The owner picked us up from the station, upgraded our room free of charge which was such a treat after our hike to watch the sunset on the wall. We had delicious food at the restaurant downstairs that evening and felt very welcomed by the locals. I would highly recommend staying here if you’d like to go to The Great Wall and have a less touristy experience and actually get the wall to yourself."

"Construction started at 7 AM, with a huge drilling noise. I called the front desk over ten times, and for 20 minutes no one answered or responded. The staff was completely unavailable. Breakfast was incredibly basic, completely overpriced, and required a long walk. Speechless 🤦♀️ Extremely disappointed; I would have been better off staying at a regular guesthouse."

"Overall it's very good, less than 500, and it's very suitable to bring water park tickets for two mornings during the National Day Golden Week. It is basically configured as a four-star hotel, with clean sanitary facilities and free parking. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. It is a 45-minute drive from Jinshanling Great Wall and a ten-minute drive from Luanping City. Highly recommended for a family vacation, but unfortunately I didn't get to experience the swimming pool. It's just that some guests are of poor quality and make loud noises in the middle of the night, and the room staff have given proper warnings, 🙏 Breakfast is good, average, with freshly ground coffee"

"I have known the owner of this restaurant for many years. When I come to Jinshanling Great Wall, I always go to the Cui Family Courtyard for lunch. The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall."

"Very satisfied, mainly because it's close to the scenic area. After dinner, we rented a car from Beijing and drove to the foot of the Jinshanling Great Wall to stay overnight, saving on parking and shuttle bus fees for the whole family. The room was also very cheap, what more could we ask for? The next morning, we climbed the Great Wall, and there was hardly anyone there. When we came out at 9:30, there were a few tourists starting to appear. The owner was also very nice; when we wanted to buy a bottle of water, he gave us one for free."

"Super good farmyard! I came to Jinshanling for a game. The last farmhouse cheated me. I almost had to sleep on the street (speechless). I changed hands and found that this farmhouse had an empty room. In the evening, I made dinner for me, full of two large bowls and my own farm dishes, and charged me ten yuan. The room was also very clean and I slept very comfortably. highly recommended! !"

"I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a night or more, near Jinshanling Middle Gate Great Wall. It is just beside the ticket counter. And when other shops are closed after sunset, the property can still cook up some dinner for the guests. On my second night, the portion of my fried rice was so big, I felt grateful for the treatment. The bed was comfortable. The room heater worked very well. The place was not noisy. It was a good stay."
