"I'm probably being a bit too hard on my rating, especially as there doesn't appear to be much else in the area. The bed was comfortable and the room was large and clean. They have a kitchenet area so you could cook your own food if you wanted. They don't have a restaurant on site so you're asked to order your breakfast when you arrive. The breakfast was delivered at the duly appointed time to our room but it was very disappointing. It tasted as if it had been cooked three hours before. They also don't trust the guests, so we were given a plastic fork and spoon which were hopeless when trying to cut the bacon or fish and it was almost comical trying to butter the toast with the spoon. The bathroom is in desperate need of a makeover. The shower sprays everywhere and there is basically no hot water (luke warm would be a compliment). The design on the showerer makes it impossible for the cleaners to clean down the side and it looked pretty disgusting. The towels are pretty old and you don't feel dry after you've used them. Whilst the room has a balcony, there is a large gap around the door so insects can easily get into the room. Probably the worst night's sleep at a hotel I've had in a long time despite the bed being comfortable. If you need to stay a night in Lucena, then this might work if you come with very low expectations."
