"When staying on Korčula, we highly recommend staying in Lumbarda. This area is a 10 minute drive from the port. You can take an Uber or water taxi to the area. We loved our accommodations at The Dreamers Club. It’s a waterfront hotel, with individual suites each with their own patio area. The views are unbelievable. The location was perfect! There is a beach restaurant next door, as long as many restaurant that are within walking distance. There is also a car/scooter rental close by. Lumbarda is filled with wineries, so the location couldn’t be better for wine lovers 🙂🍷 The hotel has a tranquil boutique vibe, with hammocks, and sofas around the property to enjoy the outside. We loved our room (we had a two bedroom), with a couch and a small kitchen. The hosts provided everything we needed for morning coffee on the patio. We do recommend having bug spray since the mosquitoes seem to be active all day long. If you are visiting Korčula and you want to avoid the old town area, stay here, you won’t regret it!"
