"Quite literally THE loveliest hotel ive ever stayed in ……….. the only down side is it is at the top of the steepest of banks so not ideal for people with walking problems/mobility issues etc …… now thats out of the way …. On to the good stuff….. that horrendous walk up the hill makes it all worth while when you see the incredible views of the sea/beach and bars etc …. Every room has a fantastic sea view that overlooks the amazing pool/poolside !!!!! Can honestly say this is the only hotel ive ever known where the hotel looks exactly like it does in their photos ……. Beautifully decorated …. Clean everywhere …. Plenty sunbeds ….. wonderful staff from receptionists, cleaners, bar staff and lifeguards and the studio room was lovely ….. very modern very spacious and well equipped !!! I could not reccommend this hotel any higher and i cant wait to return in september"

"Awful experience, I wouldn’t ever return to this hotel again. The noise level was a joke. The walls were so thin. I appreciate Magaluf is a party island, noise is expected, I have been here a few times with my child and it’s been family friendly. This is by far the worst hotel and definitely is not recommended for children. It actually says on their website it accommodates for children. IT REALLY DOES NOT! reception also told me this isn’t a family friend hotel. Had I have known this, I wouldn’t have ever booked it, I read some of the reviews regarding children staying at this hotel which was why I booked it, every other time I have been here in Magaluf with my child , the experience has been great. I wouldn’t recommend staying here with children unless you and your family want to be sleep deprived or to be told there’s nothing they can do! This was my worst experience staying in Magaluf yet. This is what i read online … The hotel offers a spacious terrace with a swimming pool for adults with a separate space for children. CHILDREN: At HSM Don Juan there is a mini club for children during the summer months and swimming area for children. Baby cots and high chairs are also available in the restaurant at no extra cost."

"Such a disappointing experience the hotel is not as it appears in advertising. Rooms tired and got bitten very badly by bed bugs which on my return has been confirmed by my GP. I have had a severe reaction to them and am taking antihistamines. Food is not great we had a couple of okay dishes but usual fast food options made up bulk of menu. There is no way this hotel merits a 4* rating more like a 2*. Staff were dismissive when approached about cleaning the room which was left for 2 days. Entertainment okay but very noisy and seats very limited. Sun loungers were also a problem with too few for the number of guests and we had to make do with plastic chairs. Opening times for pools are very restrictive and as someone who swims regularly at home I was unable to take an early morning swim before it was packed with kids. Pools cleanish but areas around covered in empty ‘Fergus’ plastic cups fag ends and litter. Only saving grace was location close to shops and beach front. Definitely would not return and I’ve raised a complaint with Jet2."
