"This is a beautiful spot for a romantic getaway. It's quiet and secluded with beautiful views. The king bed was very comfortable (and this isn't something I say often when travelling), the place was very clean and smelt amazing, and the staff was very friendly. The private plunge pool was so nice to have with the hot weather, especially after surfing or adventuring out, it was lovely to come home to our peaceful villa. It's nice and close to the surf and Santa Teresa, but I'd recommend getting an ATV if you want to explore. Highly recommend Casa Chameleon Mal Pais for a couple's getaway."

"We originally booked this place with my partner for 3 nights, but ended up staying for a whole week—which already says a lot. Our studio offered complete privacy, while the pool and main kitchen are shared with a small number of guests. This creates a laid-back, co-living atmosphere that’s perfect for meeting like-minded travelers or simply enjoying the space at your own pace. The location is also a highlight. Villa Havana is just 50 meters from the breathtaking Mal País beach, and only a two-minute drive from the vibrant town of Santa Teresa, where you’ll find supermarkets, world-class surf spots, yoga and pilates studios, shops, and a diverse international dining scene."

"We have been staying with Vista De Olas for years and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else! Every room (bungalow) we’ve stayed in has amazing views of the tropical surroundings and/or the beautiful ocean. Complimentary breakfast is served every morning and is fresh & local. We are so close to everything we need and are also content staying poolside all day with amazing views and delicious food. Bartenders (and much more) Erland and Allison always make us feel at home."
