"I stayed at Solaris Hotel Malang for a few nights and it ended up being one of the most pleasant surprises during my trip to East Java. The location is super convenient, close to the nearest airport (18 minutes away by car), and perfectly positioned between the routes to Bromo and Batu, which made exploring the area really easy. My room was clean, airy, and comfortable, with strong Wi-Fi and a beautiful city view. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a nice mix of local and international dishes. What stood out most was the staffs, everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and made me feel very welcome. With all the promos they offer, the value for money is excellent. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Malang."

During our stay, it was fine; the jacuzzi worked well, and breakfast was delivered every morning. They'd also written a nice message on the mirror and folded towels on the bed. However, upon leaving the accommodation, there was an awkward situation when the host wanted to take a video and photos. She'd already asked via WhatsApp, but I didn't respond. Finally, she asked for a video, and I declined, but she did anyway. All in all, it was a bit vague."

"Very nice hotel. Breakfast during Ramadan had to be ordered but was a fixed service (ie no choices). The location is excellent. The lighting in the cottage was terrible. The overhead light was dim. There was a table but when sitting at it you cast a dim shadow over the table making it useless for working. They did provide a floor lamp that was big and cumbersome, instead of a table lamp. This was the major downside. The view was beautiful."
