"Comfortable room. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a somewhat fiddly shower. To note: I cannot remember our room number but we had a massive flue just outside our window that was humming from sizing in the morning. It did not really bother us but it might bother some light sleepers and late risers."

"Close to Malvern. Good car parking - with disabled spots. Check-in machine a bit glitchy. Amiable staff. Super 'attentive' at breakfast. Good hot/cold breakfast - toaster's a bit slow - in a small resturant. Booking your slot advised as gets very busy. Rooms at rear have hill views. Noisy fan for heating, had to switch off in order to sleep. Clean. Good sized room. Bed/pillows comfy. Adequate/no thrills. Ticked the boxes. Shower kept runing cold, despite having a warm setting. Not ideal. Some areas looked in need of redecorating."

"It's not the first time I have stayed, Such hotels in the UK, about hygiene, Don't do the same level of Shanghai requirements, They expect different from each other. But very nice, good parking, It is also the only hotel near the school."

"Staff excellent. Right next to shops, restaurants and the hills. Room very comfortable but not colour co ordinated at all. Old fashioned and just white. Shower over bath always difficult as you get older. Walk in shower much better. Supplied shower gel in small, fiddley plastic tubes could do with modernising."

"A beautiful location with stunning views. The hotel interior was a perfect mix of traditional and contemporary. Our room was right at the top of the building and, although very small, it was well designed and very clean. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. We had dinner in the bar, which was tasty and arrived quickly and hot! All in all, The Cottage in the Woods is a perfect place for a quiet break with a little luxury. We will definitely be returning."
