Tsuruyoshikawa Onsen Hotel
"Every part of the experience was excellent — from the warm reception upon arrival to the room facilities and the quality of the meals, everything was truly first-class. The staff were courteous and friendly, and you could really feel their dedication to providing top-level service. The light meal served upon arrival was an unexpected delight. As for the facilities, all rooms face east, offering a perfect view of the sunrise. The room was far better than what we had seen in the photos. Although you have to go downstairs through the private garden to access the hot spring, it didn’t affect the enjoyment at all — the hotel’s interior design and atmosphere are exceptional, and every corner provides a pleasant experience. Overall, the quality of this hotel is outstanding. Since we were driving, I’m not sure about the transportation options, but if you’re planning a self-driving trip around the Hakone area, this hot spring hotel is highly recommended."
Tabist Ryokan Miyoshi Odawara Manazuru
"Enjoy a stay at a hotel with the best views"
Hotel Faro Manazuru
"My husband and I stayed here just to relax during the long weekend. Upon arrival, we had the afternoon tea we had reserved. It was so cute, I highly recommend it. We also had a welcome drink of orange beer on the rooftop, which was lovely. We also had complimentary fireworks at night, which made for a great time. We didn't order dinner, just breakfast, but it was delicious, made with local ingredients. The facilities were also beautiful, so I highly recommend it."
Retreat Manazuru -Rustic Retreat-
"The hotel was booked to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival. The room was very clean and had a small balcony. The scenery outside was very healing. It was located halfway up the mountain, a little distance from the station. The staff were very friendly and could communicate in English."
Couscous Glamping Manazuru
"Ok place, not cheap and worth the experience. Place was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Only feedback was the food was not worth topping up, too expensive and too little. Overall, it was nice."
Manazuru Marin Hotel
"The hotel is located at the very back of Manazuru, so it's best to contact the owner beforehand to arrange for him to pick you up from the station; otherwise, the wait can be quite long as taxis are scarce. The rooms offer pleasant views, and it's very relaxing to sit on the tatami mats and enjoy a cup of tea. The hotel owner is incredibly kind! The food is also quite good."
Pension Shiosai
"This was our first time visiting this facility as a family, and it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. The food was particularly impressive, with a delicious variety of dishes, including tender and juicy steak, fresh sashimi, and Häagen-Dazs ice cream, leaving the whole family very satisfied. The hot springs were also fantastic, with the view from the open-air bath being particularly spectacular. We were able to relax in the quiet environment surrounded by nature. The bath temperature was just right, and it really helped to soothe our fatigue from our journey. The overall atmosphere of the facility was warm, and we were very impressed by the owner's friendly personality and the staff's attentive service. The student staff in particular worked hard to provide service, and we felt their heartwarming hospitality. The time we spent at this wonderful facility and surrounded by such warm people will be fond memories for our whole family, and we would definitely like to return if we have the opportunity to visit again."
Umibe No Resort Aoi Umi
Tenbo No Yado Mine
"This is a small inn located on a hill in Manazuru. It is run by a pleasant wife and husband. The rooms are tatami rooms with futons for sleeping, and there are separate bathrooms for men and women at the back of the second floor, which can be used as private baths when available. The water used appears to be from Futamata Radium Hot Springs in Hokkaido. The food is definitely worth a visit. The simmered golden-eyed snapper and the boat-shaped platter of sashimi were so high-quality that I would like to return just to eat them."
