Hotel Faro Manazuru
"My husband and I stayed here just to relax during the long weekend. Upon arrival, we had the afternoon tea we had reserved. It was so cute, I highly recommend it. We also had a welcome drink of orange beer on the rooftop, which was lovely. We also had complimentary fireworks at night, which made for a great time. We didn't order dinner, just breakfast, but it was delicious, made with local ingredients. The facilities were also beautiful, so I highly recommend it."
Retreat Manazuru -Rustic Retreat-
"The hotel was booked to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival. The room was very clean and had a small balcony. The scenery outside was very healing. It was located halfway up the mountain, a little distance from the station. The staff were very friendly and could communicate in English."
Manazuru Marin Hotel
"The manager is Chinese, so communication in Mandarin is seamless. The hotel is not far from Izu and Mt. Fuji, making it ideal for those driving. The hotel is small, perched atop a small hill, and offers expansive sea views. The food is all prepared by local Japanese residents and is very refined."
Couscous Glamping Manazuru
"Ok place, not cheap and worth the experience. Place was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Only feedback was the food was not worth topping up, too expensive and too little. Overall, it was nice."
Tsuruyoshikawa Onsen Hotel
"This hotel is 5 mins + walk away from Manazuru station. We took a 1 hour 40 mins train from Tokyo station via the Tokaido line. First , when u reached the hotel . U will be asked to removed your shoes to change to their hotel sandals. It’s relatively quiet and dark and night. I think is pricing per night is reasonable. Given that the space given is pretty generous. U get a room as well as an outdoor garden. Pls bring a mosquito repellant because there’s mosquito in the garden. I love the food for breakfast. It’s Japanese breakfast instead of the usual international breakfast. The staff is exceptionally friendly. U get free flow ice cream that is haagen daz in the lobby as well as soft drinks and Evian water. They offer complimentary lunch at 12 o clock sharp. As well as hi tea with wine on a daily basis. it’s quite strange that they will ask u what time u would like to have your breakfast, then u will get a morning call every day around that time. I think it seems like a very personalised service. The hotel staff offered to do my laundry for free. I really appreciated it . They do offer to pick u up at the manazuru station and sent u there if u let them know u need the service. It is a pleasant stay. the location is 3 train stops away from odawara."
Tabist Ryokan Miyoshi Odawara Manazuru
"Nestled along the serene shores of Manazuru Port, this quaint Japanese-style inn exudes warmth and tradition at every turn. Run by a charming old lady whose hospitality transcends generations, the inn offers a glimpse into Japan's rich cultural tapestry. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a sense of tranquility. The tatami-matted rooms, though old, are meticulously clean, each carrying a tale of bygone eras. The gentle aroma of freshly brewed tea wafts through the air, inviting you to unwind and savor the moment. What truly sets this inn apart is its breathtaking view of Manazuru Port and the expansive sea beyond. Whether you're enjoying a traditional Japanese breakfast or simply basking in the afternoon sun on the veranda, the vista never fails to mesmerize. The rhythmic dance of fishing boats against the backdrop of rolling waves is a sight to behold. But it's the innkeeper's unwavering dedication to her guests that leaves the most lasting impression. With a genuine smile and a kind word, she ensures that every visitor feels like family. Her attention to detail and personalized care elevate the stay from ordinary to extraordinary. For those seeking solace in the embrace of Japan's timeless charm, this hidden gem on the shores of Manazuru is a haven like no other. Embrace the tranquility, savor the hospitality, and let the spirit of Japan wash over you in waves of serenity.
Pension Shiosai
"When I first entered the pension, the owner was very kind and even offered me coffee. The natural open-air bath was very pleasant, and the dinner was luxurious and delicious. There was also a gymnasium and tennis court, which was great. The tennis court was small, but everything else was satisfactory, so I was happy."
Manazuru Minshuku Oyadoaoisora
"It was used by a family of three. (Child just turned 1 year old) I checked before staying and found out that even a 1-year-old child was charged a 2,500 yen facility fee. I thought it was inevitable that it would cost a lot. I don't think there are any amenities or services worth the usage fee. I think the cost performance is poor. The parking lot is harder to find and narrower than I expected. As for the food, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The volume is so big that you can't finish it all. It would be a shame if the food wasn't good with this... The bath is not a hot spring, but feels like a larger bath at home. The wife and the head chef were friendly and nice. I won't repeat it, but I learned a lot!"
Tenbo No Yado Mine
"This is a small inn located on a hill in Manazuru. It is run by a pleasant wife and husband. The rooms are tatami rooms with futons for sleeping, and there are separate bathrooms for men and women at the back of the second floor, which can be used as private baths when available. The water used appears to be from Futamata Radium Hot Springs in Hokkaido. The food is definitely worth a visit. The simmered golden-eyed snapper and the boat-shaped platter of sashimi were so high-quality that I would like to return just to eat them."
