"After 5 PM, hotel check-in is only available via self-service. However, for some reason, Ctrip didn't provide my correct contact information to the hotel; instead, they sent a bunch of gibberish. This prevented the hotel from successfully sending me the key collection notification. Luckily, hotel staff were nearby. The hotel room facilities are far inferior to a three-star hotel in China, making it extremely poor value for money. Unfortunately, there aren't many accommodation options in this small town. I can make do for one night, but I definitely won't stay a second night."

Waking up to the sounds of nature and the stunning forest views was incredibly restorative. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area or simply relaxing on the porch with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to recharge their batteries. The animal feeding sessions were a highlight for everyone, and it was clear how much they love and care for their animals. This is more than just a place to stay—it's a truly memorable experience thanks to the genuine hospitality of the owners."

"Extremely comfy beds, clean linen and friendly staff, great atmosphere all round. The sports bar is attached and had a fantastic meal across the road at Tall Timbers. It’s not 5 star but worth the money and central to everything in town. Parking out front and great coffee across the road."
