"Stayed at Rovera for a brief getaway. The location is fantastic! Brief walk to the river or beach. Lovely big rooms, with views to match. We had a little incident in the apartment and the staff were lovely in assisting us to manage. We will be back!"

"Problems started at check in. Demanded an extra payment despite everything having been paid in full. Tried to claim it was a booking on ******* which they hadn’t received payment from. Had to get the travel agent American Express involved to reverse it. They refused to record my Accor membership against the booking, despite the fact that I wasn’t expecting any points as it was an external booking. Eventually got to the room. Nice setup, would have been very good 10 years ago but now has a LOT of wear and tear. Bench tops are chipped. Only one bedroom air conditioned. Bbq rusted. Outdoor fridge rusting away. Probably should have read the other reviews before booking as it would seem this experience is quite common."

"Unfortunately there’s not much I can say about this apartment. There’s evidence of leaks on the ceiling, out dated/ tired all around, grotty and baby cockroaches everywhere. When we mentioned the first cockroach we were told the apartment had been sprayed a week ago and there was a spare spray under the sink. Well…. The cockroaches were roaming every surface including the bedside table where my belongings were, in the seal of the fridge etc. and the spray was empty. Entering the parking garage was unique. You need to pull up close enough to reach out and touch the wall to insert the key, only to have to manoeuvre around stray pillars to be able to park. The common areas weren’t much different. We are far from impressed and can say 3.7 stars is a stretch. Oh and we have been charged twice. One great thing I can say is the view of the beach is Superb!"

"Was a bit tricky to get here from the airport and there is no 24 hour reception so you need to have an Aussie number so you can call for help to get in. Gorgeous views of the ocean. Close to cotton tree shops and restaurants."

"Deceiving. Poor customer service. Room not clean, no A/C , old furniture. When booking no option given including or excluding air conditioning. When we enquired, reception mentioned it is a premium option and refused to change to another room with a/c even we were ok to pay extra. Unprofessional owner forced us to leave and charged us an extra night . Really terrible experience. I stayed in alot of places in Australia and overseas and never experienced poor customer service like this before."

"The hotel had a kitchen, making it a great choice for families. However, we had trouble figuring out how to use the kitchen and dishwasher, which took up a lot of time. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use them. We had a wonderful time."
