"We stayed for a week in mid May. We flew to Munich and drove the two hours up into the mountains to reach the hotel. This was straightforward. We had mixed weather ranging from 2-24 degrees over the week, but the hotel was set up for it all. The holiday was frictionless from start to finish. On arriving in the restaurant, they immediately recognised our baby was too small for a high chair and Daniel produced a baby bouncer. I cannot currently eat dairy, and this had been passed on to the team, who were on the case all week. (with impressively only one near miss). The food was varied and high quality. The buffets were fresh and full of seasonal high quality fruit, salads and bread, as well as the enticing cheese selection that I envied for the week! There were an impressive seven house wines included as well as a vast array of juices at the fountain. The fresh orange juice at breakfast wad a highlight. The mixed nut collection at the pool and by the cereals was excellent. The pools were warm. There were so many seating options around the pool, that they were never full. The slides were a big hit with our family. The views from the infinity pool were awesome in the literal sense of the word. We enjoyed the bike hire complete with baby friendly trailer - and were grateful to be even supplied with a blanket for the baby. The helmets were spotless and had clearly just been opened for the season. There is a beautiful bike and walking path around the lake. The hotel playground was high quality with trampolines, tricycles and zip lines. A pickle ball court was being built during our stay. The daily horse riding in the arena was a novelty for our son, who wouldn't be quite ready for a proper ride out yet. The staff were friendly and helpful with excellent English. The rooms were spacious and modern. They were also spotless. The dressing gowns were cosy with plentiful towels at the pool. The baby monitor worked well and a Co sleeper cot was dropped up without issue within minutes. There were emergency nappies and wipes in the change at the restaraunt. The baby club team were friendly and cared well for our wee girl which allowed us some time with our son. The gnome adventure was a big hit, with ziplines across the gorge. We also enjoyed the tractor ride and marshmallow roasting. Definitely on our list to return someday!"

"The Alpenhotel Edelweiss is a good hotel with fair price and a resonable all-in formular. Dont expect 5 star luxury! It is 3 star and that describes it well. Rooms could be renovated, sure, but are clean and not too small. The lounge is ve"ry nice and it is only 20m to the ski lift up the mountain."

"I loved this hotel. I flew into Munich and was headed down to Serfaus, Austria. After arriving from a long flight, I did not want to drive the entire way, so I chose Hotel Klinger as my 1st stop for 2 nights -- break up the drive and give myself a couple of days to get over jetlag before heading into the main part of my trip. It's a very easy drive from Munich Airport -- only about 1.5 hours. And it's a perfect location for a 1st stop -- easy to find, parking, a grocery store at the ground level (if you find you've forgotten to pack something), a bank across the street, several nearby restaurants, a bike rental place, etc. The room was nice, although I found the enclosed balcony a bit of a weird room -- and it doesn't allow fresh air straight into the bedroom. Their breakfast buffet was very nice, and everyone I encountered that worked there was friendly. It's also pretty affordable. I would definitely stay here again."
