"The place is in the middle of the forest, which is beautiful and unique. The staff is very uninterested (the hotel had few occupied rooms, and yet they gave us a room on the ground floor, even though the price we paid was higher than the rate at the time of booking for a higher category). Warm water took a long time to come out—about 15–20 minutes. It wasn’t very clean; I found hair everywhere from the previous guests. It was very cold, and there was no heating system other than the beds. The only good thing was that the air outside was fresh and there was a coffee maker I could use to make tea."

"It used to be one of my favorite hotels here in Mazamitla. It's a shame to see how much the quality of service has declined. The cabins were extremely neglected and dirty, the towels were ancient, they weren't cleaned during our stay, the reception staff was completely unfriendly, the facilities were in poor condition due to lack of maintenance, the door locks didn't work, there was grime everywhere in the cabin, the furniture was old and uncomfortable... we wouldn't be returning to these cabins."
