"Used this hotel as a base in Megara whilst attending a family wedding. The rooms were clean and functional and the staff extremely helpful and attentive. Ideally, we would have liked to have had a kettle in the room and some way of controlling the lights from the bed, but these are minor niggles. Would make a great place to stop over between Athens and the Peloponnese."

The atmosphere was relaxing, and the balcony offered stunning views. "Avoid this hotel. The hotel is old and poorly laid out. Only one change of sheets during a week's stay. Poor condition and maintenance leaving something to be desired. Bad food, not local. Hotel directly on the pebble beach. Torn deckchairs. Taps mounted upside down. Non-potable water but bottles provided"
