Riad Safir
"It took some searching before we found the somewhat hidden riad in the old center, but once at the door we were warmly welcomed and the room we chose was upgraded to a spacious, more luxurious suite. The style of the room really appealed to me with the mud walls and the typical Moroccan atmosphere. The room is equipped with a safe and air conditioning. The breakfast was also fine. We did think that the cleaning could have been a little better."
Z Hotel Meknes
"The environment is nice, really nice, but there's no laundry service, and they don't provide many hangers. The only good thing is the pleasant environment; there are very few people, and the location is a bit remote."
Riad Idrissi
"The riad is well-located, very clean, and the welcome was warm – we were offered tea and initially felt at home. Unfortunately, the host quickly tried to push his products on us, which was unpleasant. Dinner was delicious, but the strong odor from the toilet was bothersome. Overall, a mixed impression."
Riad Inspira
"It is a very nice place in Medina. Madame Hanane makes the rooms very clean and beautiful, she also cooks the guests breakfast. She cooks in the lovely kitchen and her dishes are very delicious. Ms. Jihane is helpful as well, as she replies me very fast. Don’t hesitate to choose this riad. It’s a best riad I lived in Morocco."
Hôtel Plaisance
"Bon hotel, bon personnel"
Ibis Meknes
"It was a nice night especially the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and the reception was good"
Riad Yacout
"am writing this review to warn future guests. My booking at Riad Yacout was fully confirmed in writing for 7 nights (16–23 December), with two suites reserved. The confirmation clearly stated “Your booking is confirmed” and did not require advance payment. The booking terms were pay on arrival. Despite this, the riad attempted to charge my card before arrival, without authorisation and contrary to the confirmed terms. I immediately replied in writing, politely explaining that payment was agreed to be made upon arrival and asking them to honour the original booking. Instead of correcting their error, the riad cancelled my confirmed reservation. I then spoke with Asma at the front desk, who confirmed the cancellation and stated that rooms were now only available for five days, leaving me effectively stranded. During this call, both Asma and Layla were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. No apology or meaningful solution was offered. Cancelling a confirmed pay-on-arrival booking because an unauthorised pre-charge failed — and then treating the guest with disrespect — is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. I strongly advise travellers to be cautious when booking here. If any issue arises, do not expect fairness, accountability, or basic courtesy."
Ryad Dar El Meknassia
"Visually the place is okay, with a roof terrace with a good view of hills and the medina for sunset. The bed was comfortable and the shower was decent, but the room was cold. The owner is a bit of clown, and the breakfast is very poor, with no eggs. My booking was for 2 people, including breakfast for 2 people, but since I am just one person, the least they could do is throw in a couple of fried eggs and some pleasant Moroccan hospitality — but there was none. No English is spoken, so make sure your French is good enough to complain about the poor, glucose-spiking, protein-less peasant’s breakfast."
Hotel Swani
"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The air conditioning worked well, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere, and the beds were very cozy. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the bed linens and the overall calmness of the environment. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The cleanliness of both the bathroom and the room itself was not up to standard and should be revisited. Additionally, the breakfast selection could be improved, as it didn’t fully meet expectations. Lastly, considering the overall quality and the location, I found the price to be slightly high."

Hôtel Belle Vue et Spa
"old but very clean hotel. The staff are great, they will always give you advice and help. The cook prepares delicious breakfasts, especially harira soup. The room and bathroom are clean, the cleaning ladies are fairies. I recommend the hotel."
Hotel Palace
"Good location of the hotel close to all the city's shops and transport"
