"This year, we spent our traditional spring break in Mieders, in the Stubai Valley. We chose the Hotel Serles, a family-run hotel, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel owner, Mrs. Weichinger, and escorted to our room. We received a guest card that allows free use of the local bus network from Schönberg to the end of the valley: the bus stops right opposite the hotel. The room we booked was very spacious, with a lovely balcony, and excellently furnished. The selection of food and drinks at breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, including a superb selection of egg dishes. The owners are present in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, offering excellent recommendations for guests. The service is extremely friendly, attentive, and efficient. From 12:00 to 17:00, guests can enjoy a midday snack, coffee, and cake. In the evening, the restaurant offers three menus to choose from, and the salad buffet and cheese board are well-stocked. The wine list is very, very extensive: a journey through all the great wine regions of Europe and even intercontinental regions. Among other things, I was able to enjoy an excellent Malbec from Argentina. To describe the cuisine as very good would be inappropriate; it is exquisite. The hotel is very well equipped: in the spa area – meticulously maintained daily – next to the pool, a whirlpool, a steam bath, and a sauna are available to guests. Very convenient for early risers: the pool is open from 6:00 a.m.! Interesting for electric car drivers: charging stations are available. Conclusion: This was our first time there, but certainly not our last."
