Villa Mustafà
9.9 (87 reviews)

Villa Mustafà ★★★

📍 Località Casale, 71, Montefalco

"B&B Most well-paid, located in the countryside just a few km from the centre of Montefalco. The owner Paola, very friendly and comfortable, together with the mother in the morning makes a good breakfast, sweet and salad, x guests in the entrance hall. The villa will be more beautiful in spring. The unique neo lack of TV ...but maybe it's a choice. Advised x to move in the countries of the area."

Villa Pambuffetti

Villa Pambuffetti ★★★★

📍 Viale della Vittoria, 20 Ingresso: , Via Niccolò Alunno, Montefalco

"This restored villa is adjacent to parkland, just outside the Montefalco town walls. The hosts are delightful, providing a great breakfast, in a room just off the terrace. The rooms vary in configuration and view, with some suites in the "party" house, a short walk through the park. It is an easy walk to the main part of Montefalco, and there is a guest-only doorway to avoid the occasionally bustling traffic on the main street. "

Villa Santa Barbara

Villa Santa Barbara ★★★★

📍 Via Federico Giunchi, San Luca

"A fabulous place to stay! A very pretty hotel inside and out. We had a lovely, spacious room with a very nice bathroom. The breakfasts were scrumptious, with lots of variety. The people at the front desk were incredibly helpful and kind. Montefalco is a lovely place to stay with very good restaurants. It's very near Bevagna, a gem with flower-lined streets."

📍 Piazza del Comune, 19, Montefalco

"Montefalco is a lovely unspoilt Umbrian town. It isn't crawling with tourists as many of the other nearby towns are (e.g. Assisi), and it's fairly practical to stay in (parking only a short walk down the hill, and you can pull right up to the hotel when coming & going), yet it's a typical gorgeous hilltop village. This little boutique hotel is right on the main square, allowing you to soak in the local atmosphere and eat at one of the lovely restaurants only steps away. We had a Junior Suite with a gorgeous view of the surrounding valley, adjoining to a Deluxe room with a view of the piazza. Rooms were very comfortable, with aircon and a lift. There was a basic breakfast buffet which could be eaten either indoors or outdoors. Overall a perfect place to stay, with surprisingly good value-for-money, and we would come back!"

Villa Mustafà ★★★
"Excellent experience, Paul cocktails his guests with kindness and love. Sweet and salad stuff made at home. Excellent cleaning of both rooms and sharing spaces. A jump in the past that smells of delicacy and harmonie. We'll be back soon!"

Villa Pambuffetti ★★★★
"Located just outside the ancient walls and one of main gates to enter the medieval town of Montefalco, we found Villa Pambufetti a great place to stay. The villa and its surroundings are quiet and serene and you will find all the amenities necessary for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The host was very courteous and professional and saw to all our needs. WiFi could have been stronger in the bedroom but apart from that everything was great."

Traveling with friends
Villa Santa Barbara ★★★★
"This place was recommended to us by Australian friends who come to Montefalco for a long time Very clean and welcoming staff. Luca, there were 2 or 3 same name. Very comfortable room with excellent bed, seperate bath and toilet. The amenities in the bathroom were ok, bath gel and shampoo had a particular smell.. The pool, large and very clean every day is one of the special attractions The breakfast was nice, choice of coockies/sweets and fruit in abundance The choice of fine cuts and cheese was poor for this category of nice hotel The most irritant issue for us was the wifi connection, although many extenders but speed was slow and sometimes not active, I guess no FIBERGLASS … The restaurant we didn’t try … Hotel was recentely taken over and name changed to Villa Santa Barbara It is a 15/20’ drive from Montefalco A small car is a must for this hotel to visit surrounding areas and excellent wineries of Sagrantino. Taxis are on call but they take profit from tourists as they have no meters and offer is limited .. Recommended place for couples that like peaceful and quiet ambiance and nice pool ! I would recommend a tour to new TABARRINI Cantina and ask for Alessandro Fashionlovers Fabiana Filipi Enoteca Sagrantino is excellent place"

Palazzo Bontadosi Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"When we began researching a trip to Montefalco, it quickly became clear that Palazzo Bontadosi was the top hotel option in town. What we didn’t realize at the time was just how much the staff would contribute to making our entire trip a success. Over the months leading up to our visit, the hotel team was incredibly helpful—not only with our reservation, but also with transportation suggestions, restaurant recommendations, and advice on places to visit throughout the region. A week before our departure, they noticed construction issues affecting the train line we had planned to use from Rome and proactively reached out so we could make alternate arrangements. That level of attention and care set the tone for everything that followed. Upon arrival, check-in was seamless. Our room was beautiful, and we were given exactly the room we had requested. I had seen a few reviews criticizing the breakfast, but my wife and I genuinely don’t understand the complaints. Each morning there were meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, freshly baked croissants, and plenty of other options. We thought it was excellent and looked forward to it every day. The outdoor hot tubs in the garden were wonderful. During our stay, temperatures were in the mid-80s, so they felt more like “cool tubs” than hot tubs—which was actually perfect. We also booked the spa for a private two-hour session one evening. Having the entire spa to ourselves was a fantastic experience. The steam room, sauna, relaxation area, and large warm pool made for one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and professional, but we spent most of our time working with Silvia and Jade, and both were absolutely tremendous. Their hospitality, responsiveness, and local knowledge made a real difference. Before this trip, we knew very little about Montefalco. Now it’s a place we fully expect to return to someday. When we do, there’s no question where we’ll stay. Thank you to everyone at Palazzo Bontadosi for helping create such a memorable visit."
