"We upgraded to the hotel from the self catering but wish we had stayed self catering. It was like being self catering in a hotel room but with no self catering facilities. The rooms were in need of modernisation also. The grounds were beautiful but there was no place to sit out and enjoy. There was a bar that was never used and no one around in the day or evening to get food or drink. I have never been to a hotel before and not brought one drink be it a coffee or drink in the evening. The pool was nice enough - quite basic but again no place to get a good drink or snacks. Good proximity to the town we walked in often and there was nice restaurants. We cut our stay short as we wanted to a nice hotel looked after experience. I wouldn’t go back."
