I really liked the modern design of the property. Overall it was clean, comfortable, and had a fresh, updated feel. The contactless check-in process was super convenient and made getting into my room quick and easy. One of the best parts was the location. The hotel is within walking distance of plenty of great restaurants, coffee shops, and local stores, shout out Taco de Mexico!! The hotel/location itself made it easy to explore and enjoy the area without having to drive everywhere. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Morro Bay!"

"The remodel was a big improvement by making it more modern and stylish. The shower was a bit too retro, where a step in shower would have been a big improvement. The automatic bathroom light coming on as you entered at 2:00 am was something out of a horror movie. My wife used 3 sheets of toilet paper and a band aid to keep the light off. My wife would have preferred a bar of soap to the liquid dispenser."

"It's a motel, the windows face the hallway, and it's ridiculously expensive. You can see the Morok Rock just by opening the doors and windows and going up into the hallway. Honestly, there's absolutely no need to stop at this spot on California's Highway 1."

"Facilities: The room has a fridge and microwave. Cleanliness: It looked clean, but the smell was really bad, probably a backdraft from the bathroom. Environment: The hotel itself is just okay, but it's very close to Morro Bay, and the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Service: No service at all. We just took the room key and handled everything ourselves. There's no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to the second floor."
