Great rooms, amazing restaurant, nice location. But what made the trip special was the staff: at the reception, in the retaurant - everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and friendly. A strong YES!"

"We celebrated my mum's 90th birthday with the family. The staff were exceptionally courteous and made the days very pleasant for us. The rooms are newly renovated, somewhat bright, with glazed bathroom doors but very pleasant to stay in. Normal rooms are good but the suites with fridge and seating offer more comfort and are recommended. We had a mix of rooms and met in the suite to celebrate. The breakfast was very good and the dinner was of a high standard. Once again my compliments to the kitchen."

"We spent a week at the Berghotel during a family reunion in the Dolomites. The set-up was wonderful for this type of trip - we each had our own rooms, but could get together in the common spaces. Meals were a particular highlight with a reserved table for breakfast and dinner. And while the kids are picky eaters, they could always find things to eat from the salad buffet or have a plain pasta, while the adults enjoyed a 3-course meal. It's also a good fit for older children who can enjoy the pool and playground, but don't require babysitting or a kids club. The views are gorgeous and it's great to be able to walk to nearby trails and huts, or take the bus (while the bus generally worked, there were a few times where it filled up and we had to walk to an earlier stop to get picked up)."

"We stayed in a group of 50 people for 4 days. Nice facility. Panoramic location. Staff were friendly enough but lacking in hospitality. Any serious negatives? The spa is located in the basement of the annex. You can imagine that at -10°C, walking 30 meters in slippers and a bathrobe isn't exactly the best. The downside was the food: breakfast was like a 2-star hotel, not a 4-star. Dinners were appalling. The quality was extremely low and the quantity was very, very low. I've been going to the Dolomites for 20 years, but I've never eaten so badly. Everything needs to be reassessed, starting with the chef and the restaurant staff. I could never return."
